I've been a Switchfoot fan since the early 2000's. And what I like about the band it, they aren't afraid to try new & different things with their music.
Always making a new sound! I love it too.
But don't you miss their good ol' rock n' roll?

Switchfoot is such a cool and an inspiration band! they're anointed to make music that lifts up the souls of humanity!
Switchfoot has always adapted their sound to incorporate modern rock elements. I don't understand why people are so surprised by this song. Funk and soft rock have been making strong comebacks. The incredible thing about Switchfoot is that you can always clearly recognize them even with an evolving sound. Can't wait to hear how they have crushed this next musical wave.

Right now they are up in LA recording their 12th album some of the songs are quite old but some of them have been written during the pandemic first album since learning to breathe that they're not recording in their own studio.... Going to be some pain but all some some healing in that music....

The moment I knew the music video was shot in Manila, I felt proud and happy that Filipinos can portray such a wonderful video from one of the pillars of foreign bands -- Switchfoot. It gives me so much confidence and enthusiasm that we can be a part of foreign music videos. PROUD PINOY HERE! 👍👍👍

This is one of the poor mentality of filipinos. You should not be proud, dapat nga ikahiya pa at magcontemplate kung anong mali sa video na ito. Ano ba ang dapat iimprove - sa lugar - sa kapaligiran - sa pilipinas. Do not be contented just because someone well known (i.e. celebrity show it for their own purpose). Kaya di tayo nagkakaroon ng room for improvement at napagiiwanan na dahil sa mentality na ganito.

Yeah I saw that too and this country looked less shitty even though it was also shot in the slums. With the equipment that we have it's safe to say that we're still stuck somewhere in the late 90's when it comes to movies. Commercials are fine for some reason though.

I wasn't sure I would like it but it's better than anything on FW, it doesn't sound as forced like it's trying so hard to be a summer jam, it simply is a chilled out good time (couldn't help immediately subconsciously comparing it to Relient K's Bummin' which has a lot more energy but about halfway through the song I decided I like this.) I wasn't sure what to feel about Jon's vocals on the first verse but then the chorus happened & I was like "yeah this is a good one." Also the video is great. :D
