- It's a pirate ship build tutorial to help you through your Chapter 3 playthrough! I've included a full build tutorial for all of the structural elements, but I'm leaving most of the features (collection nets, biofuel, etc) up to you. Don't worry, there are some suggestions included if you need them!

I’m definitely issuing this and the tug boat idea combined. I like the outside farm area for the animals but I want a bigger layout like a pirate ship
I did something that combines aspects of both ship designs. Currently made mostly of cheap wood presently, but will be able to upgrade to the nicer wood later.

I'm thinking of making something similar, but using the voyager mod, ditch the engines completely, and make use of all the sails. But, I think I'll put the steering wheel and the receiver in the front on a raised platform, so that I can actually see where I'm going.

every video you make, I learn new. Now it's the Z when rotating the triangle corner, It frustrate me so I always use the cheap one just to escape the uneven lines hehehe

You´re too nice going through all that trouble to share a cabin with your friend - you´re the captain, so obviously you should have the bigger cabin ;) Nevertheless, you cabin looks absolutely gorgeous! You keep amazing me with decoration skills like these.
What really amazes me, though - is the creativity for creating something like this! I really like how you´ve made it look like a perfect pirate ship with only the resources provided in raft. One small detail though, I´ve always found that the crow´s nest is a place above all the sails that give you unobstructed view in all directions. So, placing a sail here would kind of defy the purpose. Fun fact: the vikings were known to take ravens on their ships, to figure out where they could find land. Since Ravens can´t land on water, they figured that if they came back, it was safe sailing all around.Otherwise, they noted the way they were heading, and that should be where land was.

Nice build! I'm still new trying to figure out if the shark can eat your raft if wall goes around the whole thing?
all you need is to use the reinforcement (farthest right option of the foundation/floor row at the top of the build hammer options) on all your outermost foundations and the shark will never bother you again. There are a lot of smart tricks on these youtube channels about dealing with the shark's raft attacks until you get enough metal to do that.
@@Sumguyinavan_ Yeah i've noticed that accidentally. I put a reinforced foundation on one corner and noticed the shark didnt attack any of the foundations along the side even if they werent reinforced. I think it only applies to rafts that are shaped like a square. In that case technically you would only need to reinforce 4 pieces, the corner. I don't know if the update has changed the mechanics?
so trying to follow along and I must be missing something. I cannot get the roof to align with the halfwalls???

Here is a tip for building a ship you can make a wet dock around an island to keep it from moving anywhere after you have built the main hull in the main campaign.

I would like to use this build but I also want to have a lot of space and storage on the inside of the ship. Do you have any idea to expand it at all?
I personally would add a little storage cabinet, which can hold up to 8 chests in 1 square!
8:52 curious if you can still place the chests in that way with the tables in the newest versions? I put down the chests first, but, understandably, i can't place the tables on them cause of the legs of the tables. Was this possible only in earlier versions or did you do some special trick to be able to place them like that?
The table is placed on the wall, technically. It's just right over the chests for hitbox spacing

Couldn't get the platforms to place on the railings to cut the room in half =(
I do like the designe, however, I'm just wondering how do you build that on your game? Do you do that on creative mode and then you transfer it to the main game or how does it work? Or you just need to have all the recourses to get it built on your island?
(I'm new at the game, I've been playing for a week, also I'm a new subscriber)
For the tutorials, I tend to build in creative just to demonstrate stuff more clearly, but you can definitely build this in survival! You'll just need to do a bit of grinding to gather all of the materials required.
I'm playing with my brothers and we reached veruna point, but we decided to stop progressing in the story until we finish the perfect raft v 1.0 because reasons lol

how did you make the water pipe go through the floor? i tried doing it on my end and it doesn't connect to the pipe below the floor :c
I think she said making 2 triangles for the floor piece then putting the pipe on top to connect to the ones below is what does it.
i have a question about raft, can you play it indefinably/for forever?, mean its possible to run out of island resources and all that junk with float in the water?, for example if i visited full map and spend a year playing this game gathering everything it's possible to run out of any resource?

no, its infinite. i have been playing for ayear and it always resetsd the world when things get out of render distance from your raft. meaning the world generates around your raft so there is infinite resources but there are some things that a are finite i beleive like the main story island
i dont think so because trash and islands generate around your raft
Is it better to make my raft wide with collecting nets or it just splits loot wider?
about 25 collection nets can get all the trash

Sadly, no. You can still do a double axis shift, but it looks kinda weird in the cabin
Maybe a wall of decorative planks?
Hey Alidove Congratulations on reaching 1k subs!!! And I bought the game today but as I was playing in creative mode my raft wasn't moving can you help me with this???
Your raft won't move in Creative! It's mostly meant for pure building purposes. I'd recommend starting in Peaceful if you're looking for the survival experience without the hassle of shark attacks

sometimes you have to put either a half pillar or wall, but then you can destroy it afterwards!

Sadly it was patched in Chapter 3. I had no way of knowing that when I made the video, and trust me, I miss it already

But, I now have my own version of the Black Pearl. I went CRAZY with the ziplines to make it look like the actual rigging on the ship. :)

With the steering wheel unlocked at vasagatan you can turn your entire ship so you don't have to turn the sails
@@ItsFrits Y'know w that's my bad. I guess I associate the steering wheel with the engines and not the sales for whatever reason

What happened these dragging rope. I can t find this. I looked with creative mod all i can see is zipline. Same thumbnail but it s different. Not a small thing. It s like pillar
