It's because our magical undefeated gold medal run was abruptly halted in the semi finals in a loss to Canada and then embarrassed further in a Bronze medal loss to Finland. Nobody wants to remember that. This game would be talked about so much if we won Gold that year.
Jonathan Quick, Patrick Kane, Joe Pavelski, Ryan Miller, TJ Oshie, Phil Kessel, etc. That team was stacked and arguably better than the 2010 team (except maybe not having Brian Rafalski for 2014). It's unfortunate we didn't show up when it mattered.

My dad wasn't familiar with Oshie when we watched this, we hadn't seen much Western Conference NHL hockey, but man was he in awe of Oshie after that game. Course then he became a Capital and now my dad is indifferent towards him since we're Caniacs, but deep down he still likes Oshie a little because of 2014

Natsu no they can re use shooters after the third shooter. 3 shooters per round. so after the first round anyone can shoot any amount of times.

    What a fucking Legend.
I watched TJ Oshie play in the MN state tourney his senior year at warroad. He and Aaron Marvin scored the winning goal in the championship game against Totino Grace I believe. I knew he would go on to do more great things 100%.
