Side hatchet was awesome! Finally someone does the looks justice.
First of all. I’m heart broken. Praying for his family. He’s healed finally. I believe that completely. Second. The axes look 🔥. When you cut off that piece I thought the same thing you did. It looked like an axe all by itself. Good luck on the auction.
I love it how we both said "hmm!" at the same time!
I love how you just go "Hmm" and as a side project make a small axe as well 😂
I love the design in the ax heads!
Great turn around, beautiful axes. And glad to be getting your videos back on my feed.
I love these vids man, bringing new life to something otherwise thought useless. I'm a firm believer that everything has a soul and deserves and wants to be used and loved and appreciated and it's great to see things given a second, third, or even fourth chance. I think I get what you're torn up about and I admire your respect by not mentioning it. It's refreshing to see that kind of consideration in a world where everyone shares news as fast as they can for the views. We love ya Justin.
Thank you for sharing your amazing story, God bless you and your family.
Holy smokes that looks rad! 🙌🏻
Always enjoying seeing you flex your creative muscles.
I think you turned that messed up axe into 2 stunning pieces
Both of them look great!
Bravo excellent good content you did a great job of bringing back that old rusty axe head
Excellent work!!
I loved it. Good job.
DAMN! That came out looking really nice!
God bless you and Stephen both, you guys are great examples of what we all should strive to be. Y’all stepped up to help a brother in his time of need and continue to do so for his family now that he’s been called to his heavenly home. Much love and God’s blessings upon you and your family! 🙏🏻❤️
Beautiful axes, very creative, thanks.
The red came out stunning
Great job.
Love it

Nice restoration and great work.
Great video and repurposing of a busted axe, thank you!
I'm down in the dumps too my friend, I think a lot of us are at the moment.
May you, your family and friends, stay safe, healthy, sane, and prosperous during these uncertain times. That goes for everyone who reads this too.

Glad to see you're doing better. Wild times for everyone! Nice job on the axes!
Back in the day you used to make these a lot. One day I will have an axe like this. Very beautiful resto man. Looks great :)
There turned out fantastic! I love that you used the cast off to make the smaller axe 🪓. I hope they sell for what they’re worth and get you well on your way to a new camera Justin 📸
I love those patterns that you do on some of your stuff
I was not expecting that. Great idea, so that you don't just end up throwing an axe in the trash. Great content as always. Thanks for the content, it really helps with these days in isolation.
Very Cool Justin!!!
Wow... Those axes are awesome...! Thanks for sharing...! Prayers out to ya for whatever you have going on in your life...! Peace out to ya...!
Sorry to hear about Mark. He was loved by everyone . prayers for you and Mark family.
Awesome work Justin. You are a true craftsman. Stay safe. Stay Healthy. God Bless you my friend!!!
Nice work, I should take this time to re-handle some of my hammers I've got laying around.
Looks great keep up the great work and God bless you and your family
They look fantastic 👍👍 great work
You didn't ruin anything. New life to a broken axe x2. Nice work. Thank-you for the upload.
what a great fix Juston
Man I need one of those nifty snap-on polisher/sanders you love! Awesome work man.
this is so cool!!!!! great job!!!!
Great video Justin. RIP MARK.
GOD BLESS you BACK 😁
First I wanted to quit, I thought you would take a garbage piece of steel on the double head axe, then I saw your pieces of artwork ! Very nice work, I love it !
Good job on the small axe. Look like a little porosity set in on the handle but you fixed that. Great job!!
So cool man inspirational stuff keep it up
Great restoration video Justin hope your well Brother
Has a nice dragon scale appearance.
Nice work.
I did this exact same thing to a double but I restored. But instead of a crack, mine was improperly sharpened for years. The bit looked like a curly W on one side. It still turned out to be a good axe.
I've been looking for a double bit axe for awhile now and that one would'a been perfect for what I want to do...Oh well...Nice job I like the grinder work on the sides...looks great!
I can honestly say I have never seen someone use the rsr of the aze like that, it was badass bro def going to subscribe, wait to go on using every part of your refurb
Amazing Work Top Class
I thought this was a great video.. you are a talented man..Bravo
Dang ! That was sweet
You take care and stay well too!!
Could fit Santa Claus well with the head color 😄
Good Job
I like that you make something out of the axe cut off It's like a little kindling axe. I'd use it for sure.
Nice ones.
Thank You Justin
Amazing work! You have my sub 😁
Wonderful
Hey man prayers for you. Also I love the axe and the little hatchet. If I could afford it I’d buy them both from you. Keep up the good work!!
My condolences go to Dr. Lee and the entire Carriker family for their loss. Mark always seemed to brighten the room for them even when he wasn't there.
R.I.P. Mark Carriker #HomemadeEverything🙏🏼❤️
Stay safe and strong brother. Life is worth the living no matter what.
Made a hand hatchet out of a portion of the axe head that is cool
I like that you saved the double bit, but not the dimpling of the Fireman's axe.
Great little project, not a fan of the scalloping divots, though. Just seems like a good place for rust and dirt to collect. Makes a clever wall-hanger as an art piece. Good to see you back up and running.
This is an amazing idea! Hopefully you won’t mind if I try to recreate it
excellent job friend stay safe
I wasn't sure in the beginning when you welded that bar onto the small piece. Watched to the end and was pleasantly surprised. Nice.
The smaller one look like a Flamingo!!!!!!!!! Good job! !!!!! 👏👏👏👏
Love it
Nice beads.
Cool Way Cool 😁 looks good for your phone hope you are doing well
The bigger axe looks like something Mr.T would wear around his neck on a gold chain.
+Frank B Ha! I can totally see that.
Wow! Didn’t realize you were by Tyler. I’m in Denton so that’s pretty cool you’re so close! BTW. Electrical Tape works great for creating rounded lines
Nice ax
I get it. Bless you. And I love that little axe. I'll join you later ♥️
I’ve got the cordless polisher are work as well. Have you seen the new brushless one? Considering trading up
Hey there. Hope that you are all good in the land? I like your Norton cap. Reminds me of the software "Norton Anti Virus". Well i am glad to see you uploading more videos. Always entertaining to watch. You are a true inspiration to everybody. Keep up the awesome work. God Bless to you and family and everybody in the States.
My only improvement IMO would have been to chemically blue the mini-axe on the 'speckled' parts. Kinda give it an obsidian look, so go from obsidian to steel.
Great video, I basically spent my entire time wondering "where the hell is he going" ... and then going "aaaah, that's smart ! ". No man, you didn't ruin anything. Besides, where we go, there aren't any rules (as an old scotch ad would go "No rules, Great Scotch". I try to stand by that ^^). Keep it up, and take care. Blessings from Belgium
Fireman's ax is and the baby ax is hilariously adorable( I know its called a hatchet but it came from the 'parent' ax so baby ax) plus the ax is waay smaller than any hatchet I've ever seen.
Sexy mini axe!
Salut très bon travail formidable continue comme ça
duuuude, that is one beautilful tiny hatchet
Thank u
Hey man great job! Any chance you remember what paint you used on that axe?
Respect damn nice..... 🤘🤘🇧🇪🇧🇪
Runed? Hell you saved it and made two beautiful axes out of a great but useless and dangerious one. They are both peices of art, Keep posting and whatever it is you are going through I hope it turns out in your favor.
You can use a thin layer of wet clay to acheive a differential heat treat on a peice as the clay will somewhat insulate the metal.
5:50- was that a polytac 90? Ok rewatched and no- but very similar. What flashlight was that?
That porosity though!
