To be fair, Safiya's eyeshadows turned purplish brown and the lipsticks a shade of red because of how overpowering these shades were. Nooot such overpowerage here, tho x) These yellows in the middle, I knew they were gonna be trouble!

Quarantine is hitting hard. Yesterday I mixed all of my paint colors, all of my wax seal colors, and all of my leftover candle wax’s together. Today I’m going to see how many times I can boop my cats nose before he eats my fingers.

I had the same realization! I thought she was just super short but she is taller than me! He is just super tall!! But it's hard to tell from the videos just how tall he is, but like the cabinets in the background are probably bigger than I had thought in these older videos

This video is a beautiful example of color theory at work. Subtractive color turning everything into a muddy brown and additive color making all the interference pigments turn a white.

Back in the day, film glass was made with sugar, but now most of it is made with some kind of resin. It would be super cool if you could test different resins or manufacturing methods for making a bottle to eventually pull over someone's head.

The interference colours are each filtering different colours of light, so when mixed all together, all the colours are present, and all colours of light together make white, so the interference colours are going to make white

The big cube looks like WALL-E's trash that he compacts inside of him and stacks into a huge tower.
I did resin work in some of my art classes in college. Since pigments can be pricey, I found that you can get pretty good results with powdered make-up, like dollar store eye shadow. Colored cake decorating sugar can be an interesting add-in, too. Another thing you can do is sand resin that contains sugar or salt, and then wash the grains out of the surface layer to achieve a texture. And if you want to get fancy with it, you can use coarse grain salt, sand it and wash it out, then pour a thin layer of a different color of resin on top of it to fill the voids. Then sand it down again to reveal the contrasting colors

I learned in high school art classes that no matter what, if you mix close to rainbow, you get brown and/or purple. Always some tone like that.
I wonder if the interference mix would have worked better if you dusted the mold with it first and then just poured in black resin? same for the Duo Chrome ones.

The thing about mixing colors is there really only are the primary colors, red blue and yellow, the secondary colors are just combinations. So when you mix all the colors, if you are super precise and exacting, you will end up with a neutral gray, but we are human and flawed, so we inevitably end up with brown/ ochres
