Arithmetic Series and Ancient Indian Mathematics

Arithmetic series were being used in India since 4000BC. Here in this video the problems solved by Ancient Indian mathematicians are discussed. The terms and formulas they were using are also given. Some problems from Mahaviras - Ganita Sara Samgraha , Bhascaracharyas- Lilavati , Sridharacharyas -Patiganita and Narayana Pandits - Ganita Kaumudi with solution are discussed.
