  • In this video I will add rain sensing wipers to my 2020 Ram 1500 DT truck. This job is very easy if you already have a humidity sensor mounted on the windshield.
    Supplies needed:
    -Rain/ humidity sensor (P/N: 68298334AA)
    -AlfaOBD
    -Security Bypass cable
    -OBD connector compatible with AlfaOBD

I think the electrical system is the same for the '19+ DT trucks. If you look under the dash and have the green and white electrical hubs you saw in the video, then one listed for a '19 or '20 DT "should" work.

You were saying you needed climate control for the truck to have the wiring, it looks like yours doesn't have the climate control, did you have to add additional wiring to do this modification?

I "think " you need to have auto climate control to have the humidity sensor in the windshield. But you can easily unclip the rear view mirror trim and check to see if you have happen to have the sensor on a lower trim level truck. My truck has the Level 2 equipment package with auto climate control.

@@ironicallyengineered2486 Thanks for the heads up, I was thinking the ATC came with the 12.1" screen, but looking at yours, it seems like there is dual temperature adjustments?
