- Adapting the bump stops to work on any cnc machine is a real advantage. Easel can be just a little tricky at times. Hopefully, this will help solve this question.

Another great video. After you exploded the lines I would have just created a separate horizonal line at 80mm long and would have moved the vertical lines where their center is on each end of the horizonal line and then delete the horizonal line. The horizonal line would ack like a measuring tool. Might be a little easier if people have problems with the math. Keep up the great work.
Excellent idea. Like I always say, there are multiple ways to accomplish the same task
I have similar problem with hole placement...90mm on X axis, 100mm on Y axis, so I cut a double slot 10mm apart on 1 side
There you go, you have a solution.
Merry Christmas!
I’ve been watching your x-carve videos for a while, very informative.
I tried my first 2 stage carve. Things didn’t carve as cleanly as I’d like. Is there any way to send you pictures and maybe help me trouble shoot?
Merry Christmas to you and your family. Yes, use the email in the description
I can see from your videos that you are very knowledgeable about all things CNC. Perhaps you could answer a question for me. I purchased detailed plans for an over-blade dust collection hood It occurred to me that instead of cutting them out on a bandsaw and then sanding to the line, it would be more accurate to make a template with a CNC machine. My question: is it possible to convert a PDF or similar file to a file that can communicate with a CNC machine? Thanks so much from Safford, AZ.
You should be able to use Inkscape to convert the files to a svg format. Inkscape is free and works well. Make sure you have a scale to reference the size. I have a very old video where I did just that for plans to a rc airplane. I’ll see if I can find it for you
