There are not nearly enough resources on the psyche model, it would be wonderful if you could do a video! Or if not a video, any recommendations for further research. I’m extremely interested in this, in that I think I’ve been unknowingly practicing it for years and only recently heard the term and realized that’s what I was doing.

Interesting concepts that you presented...
Perhaps another concept is that the " energies " you wish to direct, is how/ what you become the conduit/conductor to direct the end results sought...
A representative...is a good item for any level operations attempted...
A small medicine pouch is a good example...it represents you...it is holding the items/medicine as you do within! A good concept for many to grasp!

Ditto! I'm more of a psych model person and I would love to hear a conversation between Nike, Georgina, and someone who does practice within the psych model. Most of the methods are still the same, only the mindset is a little different.

@@gio-ve7vn amature magus (another channel) has a really good video on it called "Mechanical Paradigms In the Occult | Mechanical magick". he usually goes for the spirit model but has a nice sprinkling of chaos magick in there. would recommend

I've had this kind of discussion with some of my friends and we came up with an issue regarding synchronicities and the intention/attention problem (meaning that, most of the time it is us paying attention to our preconceived desires out in the world vs. it actually being an intentional synchronicity). I have done several spells and not one of them has worked. I have my doubts about spells working.
I've been a practicing witch for almost 20 years now I've had some failures but also a lot of successes. Usually when spells don't work there is a part of us that is doubting, there is a part of us that is scared of the things that we say we want even if we don't recognize it at the time. And if you do work with a deity,I would say that sometimes Spirit knows better than we do and the things we ask for are not actually meant fo us. So if my gods know better than I do and I'm asking for their aid and something that I want, ultimately if they are helping me, they're going to help me by not aiding my spell. If that makes sense.
Excellent explanation of how magick works. I love your down-to-earth style of teaching. So many magick-oriented channels are more interested in seeming mysterious or pandering to certain niches, but not you as far as I can tell. You're quickly becoming my favorite witch-tuber (if that's even a word.) One thing I would like to add to why a spell might not work. Confidence is key, yes, but so is not "lusting after results." However, both might be one in the same.

hi nike, im brennan, i heard negative stuff for years and was an atheist and thought it was psychics , then i had an experience meeting a character that called herself the mother and that she was god, i saw spirits for the first time and had two years no negative stuff or if there was it was handled with ease, unfortunatley a lesser form has come back for the last ten years, its like my job working with god, the father too, and some times its still awful, but anyway my point was that to me theres no doubt theres a god , that its the more intelligent answer but its hard to convince someone or to find the right words, and there was no doubt in my mind there was no god when i was an atheist, theres reasons im glad there is a god and i wish i could share that with people, thanks for your videos!
I'm more of a divination and bardic type heathen myself. I'm not the greatest yet at divination though.

i think when you step over the
threshold you immediately feel the
change in energies, because there´s
powers outside that are much greater
than you, no matter how long you´ve
been practising (which is 100 years
maximum, what is that to the life
of the sun).
so any witch that thinks they´re
greater than those powers is deluted
to me.
there´s things that you can affect
and things that you cannot, no one
can.. it´s not about doubt to me,
just the way things have been set up
(human beings, actually not on top
of the world order).
once you (really) get that you should
become more realistic with your
desires.
also in the folklore i´ve never seen
witches asking things for themselves..
i think that might be modern influence,
tied to the degeneration of the culture
itself (people becoming more self
centered).
that or they did it, but not when the
"mask" was on, just like everyone else
(doing magic doesn´t make you a
witch when everyone does magic).
personally i just go with the flow,
or (if needed) steer the flow (like
a boat), which is of course meddling
too.. i come from the "forest school"
of magic, we don´t really go for the
future or the past.. we go for the NOW,
a lot of magic in the now (it´s the
same
thing really, just more instinctual,
no candles needed).
