- A while ago we went on a trip to Italy. Our first stop was Milan. This was our jumping off point for the trip. We flew out of Bristol Airport early in the morning and had a fun filled day of exploration. We took a tour of the cathedral, had our first taste of Italian pasta & gelato, and got to see Leonardo da Vinci's "The Last Supper."

Hi! I'm Abbie, a bookworm and cat lady. My husband (Jeff) and I got rid of everything we own (except my books lol) and left sunny California (with our quirky cat Tedward) for gray skies in England. On this channel you’ll find bookish (hauls, reviews) and travel (vlogs, tips, expat life) content!

I am actually in Florence as i watch this, on holiday. It is an amazing place but also rammed with tourists. Still worth it for the amazing art and architecture.
Florence was super busy when I went but definitely worth it. One of the prettiest places I’ve ever been to!
Say hello for me. I used to work there and loved it . If I ever had leave the UK that's where I would live. Enjoy xxx
To my shame I'd never heard of Trapizzino before! Looks delicious, I'm sure I put on weight just watching your Vlogs, Cheers Jim X
It was really good! Would recommend for a quick lunch! They have a bunch of options for fillings!
The perfect video! Thanks to the author of the channel for this fascinating video! It is interesting to see how people live in other countries! It is very important to know foreign languages on such trips. I would like to recommend to all travelers a practical guide to learning foreign languages by Yuriy Ivantsiv "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages". This book contains a lot of useful tips on how to learn a foreign language for tourists, students, entrepreneurs and anyone who needs a foreign language in life. There are a lot of good tips on how to solve problems with the language from beginner to advanced level of language learning. It turns out that the traveler only needs to know a few dialogues and you can easily travel around the world! You don't have to spend a lot of time to fully learn a foreign language, you just need to learn what you can use when you travel. I wish everyone exciting travels!
I wonder if you will miss trains when you get back to US?
I will! I love train travel! My favorite way to get around!
Not a place I'd go to in Italy..Way way too tourist centric for me.. It's kind of not real Italy 😞
If you think Milan is too touristy than you’re probably not going to like anywhere in Italy. You can’t escape other people wanting to visit too
It's as "real" as anywhere in Italy, Depends what you want to see!
