While Florence was Jeff's top Italy destination mine was Venice. I was not at all disappointed. It lived up to all the hype I had of it in my brain. It is absolutely stunning. We had a lot of fun walking around all of the narrow passageways and eating.

Went to Venice in the 80's, had a coke in St Marks Square. Just finished paying for it

Check out pictures online of the collapse of the tower in St Mark's square in 1902. It took ten years to rebuild and thankfully it fell away from the cathedral. Thanks for another enjoyable city trip!
