  • So the complete story is that my friend paid $32,000 for this 2500 Chevy about three months ago and every since he got it when it went into reverse it was very very slow I personally think it’s the valve body then here we are about three or four months later and now the transmission isn’t working he thinks all we need to do is change the fluid I’m not certain but we’ll have to see what happens in the video maybe I’m wrong I’ve been wrong before but nevertheless we’ve got a video showing you how to change the transmission fluid and filter in your Chevy that may or may not be helpful I’m sure I left things out because I didn’t plan on making this video and that he is not as meticulous as I am about descriptions of the things that are necessary to do but at the very slightest hopefully it helps you!!!

My 07 GTI fills the fluid up from the pan. It's not an easy fill. I had no idea Chevy copied the Germans. Anyway you are great content creator as well as a Great mechanic.
    Thank you

It did work as a matter fact, we were using that yesterday to haul stuff to the new studio. I’m actually surprised it’s still working.

I'd wait about a week and do another transfusion. Since all the fluid wasn't changed. That's just me though.

🤔 Not a bad thought at all not my truck though
And I’m old school I would never change all the fluid unless I know entire history ( and we don’t ) because all the friction particles from old fluid may be all the is holding it together.
it’s still working great though just a fyi

Hindsight is always 2020 if somebody would’ve walked in that garage and seen us pumping
