  • Lawn Grub Prevention is easy! The key is using the correct product at the right time. This video provides a quick review of the grub life cycle, why you want to apply a preventive application, what to apply and when.
The video offers once method of grub control for lawns. There are other alternatives, such as Milky Spore (more holistic), which I mention in the video. Whatever grub treatment program you choose, be sure to follow instructions from manufacturer, apply at correct time and at correct rate. If you experienced a devastating infestation last season, I highly recommend that you consider preventive measures for this season.
Below are links to products or materials referenced. There are many comparable products to the ones I'm currently using. Please make your own decision(s) and apply ONLY in accordance with the manufactures instructions and local regulations. You are responsible for what you apply.

Another quality video Russ. In 2008 my lawn was destroyed by grubs. I had been applying a preventive in years before that and decided not to treat the lawn that year. Big mistake. I end up having to replace the whole lawn and learned my lesson. Your lawn is looking great.

Great content Russ! I put mine down about 2 weeks ago. Had animals digging for grubs in my lawn so since I started using the grub ex I haven't had issues

How about fungus control? When is the best time for that? Is it now? The same time as grub Control?? Thanks

I’m in NJ and usually start mid to late June. Always better to start a little earlier if you usually see fungus issues. I’ll be alternating two fungicides again, unless I try a new product. Have to come up with a plan. Amazon usually puts DiseaseX on sale at some point, stock up. You can alternate that with propagonazol or something similar. Where are you generally located?

@@brodygoalie Yea the product labels usually say to re-apply in 4 weeks. Of course different products may vary.
