Sandee, you could of still planted the chives. The plant is perennial. It would of kept growing because the roots were still intact. Also, chives have a really strong taste, depending on the type of chives. Next time, use half as much of the organic herbs, then plant the remaining spice/herbs with its root system. If it still has some remaining growing plants and the roots, the plant will continue to thrive. You're so lucky to live in a warm climate because in Canada we are still slaves to an 8 month winter. You are blessed to have that kind of weather. I am a weird woman born & raised in California love the weather but wish it could be colder a little more frequent meanwhile when I lived in Idaho where its cold 6-7months that weather was more ideal but the state was so boring so that ruined it for me then I lived in Texas where its hot way to often absolutely hated it..
I just love California and all its vibes just wish the weathee could improve to be more like Idaho hell a woman could only wish🤣😆🫠
@@mercedesvelasquez8781 winter is definitely not the winter i remember as a kid...maybe because I'm taller perhaps? But we had tonnes of snow. I remember thanking the snow plow actually providing me way to get to the bus stop...but as cutbacks happened later, my parents road now didn't get plowed, trapping my elderly parents in the winter. Now Christmas' are cold without pounds of snow and May needs air conditioning. However, there's still tonnes of snow in the rest of Canada. Ontario may be turning into another temperate province like B.C.
@@rochelleiscanadian oh your poor parents I hope everything worked well for them after everything and are hopefully have a better winter this past year because being trapped I side is the absolute worse I couldn't imagine to be honest.
@@mercedesvelasquez8781 you sweet Angel. My brother and I moved our Mummy to a condo within 10minutes of his house and 30 from mine after our father died. She couldn't be there alone...no more snow for her to worry about. Also, clearing the snow became a major hassle after 2019, since the company she liked went under. So with covid, I was driving to clear snow. Lol. Some condo fees are SO worth it😊

A little tip when i make garlic butter i soften it then mix in the garlic before spreading on the bread mind im in the uk so we probably do it different here
I've learned to just melt butter in a bowl add garlic powder s little oregano and Parmesan if you like and rub that into your bread it's so much easier than spreading it!

Little hack a lot of people say to put a glass of water in the microwave and then use that hot mug to sit over butter to soften, but I just stick my butter in the microwave on defrost time for like 20 seconds and it does the trick. Hope that helps! 😊

I loveeee your vlogs! Try to using a wet paper towel right next to your onion when you cut them. It always helps me. 😊
Love your videos. Here’s my tip for cutting onions and cutting down on onion tears…I always peel off the top layers, then run it under water. When cutting, I always cut it from the top and not where the roots grow out. That seems to be where the strongest odors come from. Let me know if it works for you. Much love from Oklahoma.

Sandee, if you put a little sugar in your tomatoes or tomato sauce, it will help. I have the same problem with them bothering my stomach, and that helps really well. 🙂

Yummy! I've never tried the shrimp from butcherbox but now I will! And may I recommend buying the tub of "I can't believe it's not butter" for garlic bread or any bread.. it spreads very easily even when cold and mixing garlic salt and parmasean makes the perfect spread!❤

The galic bread is a little better if you leave the butter out till soft. Mix fresh chopped garlic with butter. Then put on bread and then Parmesan Cheese on top, then broiler till done.
