Actually, I'm studing the course called BBA(BPM), only psgrkcw has this course in India. It is a tie up course with TCS. When I heard about the Tcs placement from seniors which most of the students participated, they said that even though they got selected in the placement process, the waiting time for onboarding is more than 6 months for many. Only very few got immediate onboarding. I just want you guys to beware of that.
Information is share is little incomplete. I am 2023 graduate and apply for BPS by my college campus through training from YEP(Youth employment program). I got selected and have provisional offer letter. But its my choice not to go there.. They hiring at the place of INTERN not as full time employee. And offering 10,000 stipend with 2,000 city change allowance. And 4,000 extra for night shift, if you get. I am from patna and have to join kolkata tcs, Newtown. Its is much low to relocate new place with only 12thous. Rs. Where rental property cost around 4 to 6 thous. for one room only. If anyone want to only earn his expenses not for family. Then it is ok to join. And the best part is internship also of long period of over 1 year.
Most of the opportunities are for those who have just passed graduation. But for those who are in gap years the opportunities seems to be minute or none. From 2019 prepared for competitive exams and now i have no job in hand. But still have hope that i ll do something. Thanks for your updates .
When i was doing masters in 2017 i was shortlisted after 3 tests -- 1. Written test (mcq based test) . 2. Interview 3. Interview via phone call.. among 300 students they selected only 10 candidates and i was one of them.. this process occurs only in one day (fair and clean test).. though i didn't continue this job , within one day i left ta job for govt job.. but in field of private company, tcs is the best..❤❤

joining in TCS as a first company is not good choice as I have suffered because in bps salary are very much less as comparison to other consulting firm..rather joining in TCS it is better to join in some other firm gain some knowledge and later on you can join TCS as you will get hike as you've the experience 😁
I am waiting for a day when Tech Giants like TCS start hiring people solely based on skills (regardless of age, without a 'fresher-only' tag) atleast for entry level jobs. Can't believe how difficult it is for someone (even in 2023) to even think about a change in career path.
Do you not think that doing that will make it much harder for freshers to get these roles? Surely it follows logically that an older, more experienced applicant would have a larger skillset than a fresher. I think I'd much rather pick a world where it's "hard to change career paths", though I don't agree with you there than a world where you need 15 years of experience to start working as a fresher.
@@NitrogenPacket In 2023, when students have platforms like Udemy, coursera to improve their skill set(just like everyone else) +almost ALL college goers are enlightened on the importance of internships, I don't think someone who completes their graduation in 2026 (meaning fresher) is going to find it difficult to get a job. An Older, more experienced candidate may have taken a poor career choice, financial/health/family issues, career gaps which can never be articulated effectively &convincingly to the interviewer:- these things never entered the said logic of the recruiters!

@@Shweta-Arora I worked as a science tutor for 4 years, and when I applied for a position of associate consultant (entry level) at a reputed immigration Services(a job that demanded only good typing speed and English language proficiency+ communication skills and trust me: I had all these). I passed their language test & typing test &HR round;I even had an experience (with proof) of working as a freelance content writer for a local magazine- but got rejected at the managerial round bcoz he didn't like my 'history'. With courses-Yes, you'd be better off; but if your age is 25+ and have been in a different career path, the interviewers will be like "what's the guarantee you won't change your career again?" .

Fresher with few certifications in the respective field with no workex with regards to the certificate. 1st scenario - You are busy with so many other parameters to look after your channel, You will not prefer a fresher, you will look for someone you can rely on and you can only trust and rely on a person with some good work. Ok👍🏻.. Next 2nd scenario - You might end up giving them a chance but at some risk. Note: Now I completely understand the perspective of an employer I have been interacting with doctors, lawyers, and cake shop owners who want to enhance or boost their sales or service it's pretty obvious they will need an experienced candidate Because the end of the day doctors, lawyers, and cake shop owners are not DM specialists. Hence, they can't teach anything to this fresher. (This is mainly for startups as I'm seeing them a lot around) Coming to the point only a handful of companies are willing to teach someone hard skills. 2nd Note - This is just my opinion it does not apply to every field.

Tcs bps, dont join as fresher.....take some experience and then join for better annual compensation and select project according to your skills, you may allocate to the projects where your skills dont get enhanced or they may become useless and once you join that project you will stuck there, no one will help you to get switch to relevant project where you can grow professionally. And one more thing. You also may see the internal politics and favourism...so before joining tcs collect all information from all sources and then join, my career is almost finished here.

Waise toh BPS jobs bohot underrated hai but I finally realised it’s importance after 6 years in corporate. It was my first job and I started in 2016. I got a chance to work with one of their esteemed clients ‘Morgan Stanley’ and got to learn some best skills as a Fresher. 1. Email writing and communication 2. Intellimatch (Globally recognised reconciliation tool) 3. Microsoft excel 4. Team work and other professional etiquette. Career prospects: Entry into Investment Banking/ Fund Accounting/ Wealth management and other Reporting roles. (Also demanded by Big4s) So as always Shweta Mam brings amazing opportunities 👏

@@Shweta-Arora To be honest, In case of Freshers or BPS roles, they usually do not get a chance to choose their Domain/ client or industry. They will be allocated to clients on the basis of hiring requirements. Clients TCS BPS majorly has Investment Banking Operations, Insurance, Accounting and Reporting, Utility and few others. Once they start working they should be able to understand their potential, grow network internally and ask for internal movements. I have a lot to say but I think this should be enough for freshers initially. 😊 Hope that helps.

Let’s be honest, companies like TCS just want free labour. At 15k, you can just wash cars, be a maid or drive as a Ola cab driver and earn way more.

Minimum Year of passing of gradution is set as 2020. All the candidates who got graduated before 2020 are not eligible...

I would not suggest for this role because preparing for CAT side by side will become difficult. This is a hectic job role.

Tcs bps, dont join as fresher.....take some experience and then join for better annual compensation and select project according to your skills, you may allocate to the projects where your skills dont get enhanced or they may become useless and once you join that project you will stuck there, no one will help you to get switch to relevant project where you can grow professionally. And one more thing. You also may see the internal politics and favourism...so before joining tcs collect all information from all sources and then join, my career is almost finished here.

I have a question to ask you that how to increase attempts with accuracy? Does attempts also increases with increasing accuracy? I just attempt question and doesn't keep it in my mind that i have to increase attempts after doing every passage. And how do i reduce passage solving time in every mock because many time we have to recheck the facts in the passage. It takes lot of time from us.

@@Shweta-Arora To be honest, In case of Freshers or BPS roles, they usually do not get a chance to choose their Domain/ client or industry. They will be allocated to clients on the basis of hiring requirements.
Clients TCS BPS majorly has Investment Banking Operations, Insurance, Accounting and Reporting, Utility and few others.
Once they start working they should be able to understand their potential, grow network internally and ask for internal movements.
I have a lot to say but I think this should be enough for freshers initially. 😊
