Thank you guys for cleaning up the ground after enjoying your day out. It's so important for all of us in the hobby that people see us and then walk over ground we worked and not be upset by holes or messes. From what I saw nobody would have any complaints at all.

I'm jealous of ALL the silver you guys dig up. I'm just getting back into detecting after a 25+ year hiatus. I started back in the late 70's and dug a LOT of silver and coins back then. I just don't have the stamina to stay out all day like you young fellers today. I think the SLQ and Franklin are a TIE for best coins on that hunt. Kudo's! Keep it up guys!

And the IKE Dollar, 1972 would have been my channel logo...I only dug 1 SLQ and 1 Ben Franklin in my 5 years of detecting. But I just LOVE the Ben Franklin half, The 1963 is my FAV. And PlugMasterFord sent me a 1951 BF Half from Wes Stringers huge silver hoard 1927 silver coins dug at one location.

Man I wouldn’t know what to do with that many silvers. Lol. Haven’t had that many at all. I’ve been thinking about detecting some medians but just haven’t done it yet. Or curb strips. Interesting Boy Scout Excelsior Shoe Company token. I found one a couple years ago before I started posting to CZcams. Mine is a different version that doesn't have the swastika. Great finds all the way around. It is rare to find a full-sized Eisenhower dollar. I like SLQs if they have dates, but I would prefer to find a Franklin half dollar.
That was funny as heck when Mike put that cricket in your hand. I think you about screamed. lol. Awesome finds. SLQ or Franklin, that's a tough call. I guess Franklin cause I haven't found one yet.

Crazy good hunt Gents! I think I’d have to give John’s half the edge. SLQs are rare for me but I’ve never found a half of any kind. Spanish silver, large cents, a two cent piece even a couple of Ike dollars, but never a half. Looking forward to next week’s hunt!

Great hunt and lots of fun. Congrats. AND, I would ALWAYS take ANY SLQ. There are no stars below the eagle so that is either a 1916 or 1917.
