      Hydrogen potassium ATPase :) You might see it in textbooks as H/K Pumps, H+/K+ ATPase or just Proton pump. It's a P-Type proton pump closely related to the Sodium-Potassium Cardiac pump :)

    Is there side effects like Stomach distension, colon, indigestion, uncomfortable eating, and inability to eat in usual quantities (quickly filling up) and feeling tired all the time?!

      hi, I take omeprazole sometimes and usually I don't get any side effects :). technically this "medication" isn't necessarily a medication (so I've heard from my gastroenterologist). BUT, if continued for a prolonged amount of time you can actually develop arthritis. so it's best for everyone to just keep a healthy and clean diet to prevent the increase of stomach acid and arthritis.

    Then how will food be digested without hcl

    • @mangogo21
      @mangogo21 Před 5 lety +9

      Food can still be digested with omeprazole. PPIs are generally used to treat patients with acid reflux. So one way to stop the damaging of the esophageal mucosa is by inhibiting the production of hydrogen. This then decreases proton concentration in the acid and hence, increases the pH of the gastric juice. This does hinder one's ability to digest food, but it is still possible. A side-effect of PPI is diarrhea because food is not fully digested sometimes.

      The dose of omeprazole isn't high enough to 100% eliminate acid production, it just reduces it.

    You run against the USD here, so I'd have to say they've got to go against whatever they've been doing to set the stream of normality upright. In other words to fix this you'd have to stop trying to uplift a entire wealth tier at the same time, lift items at the center and raise a tent to stand on. That'll put the digits into places that'll start peaking where there are slumps in the currency circulations.
    Nothing enough comes down so we have arterial wall 'black'ages everywhere.
