I love how he says that tekken 8 is a scrub game, because yes, tekken 8 favours scrubby playstyles, and dale fits right there. T8 is the only game when he got to purple rank (for what its worth), meanwhile in t7 he barely got out of yellow ranks and then again, it took him years of ragequits to get there.
Tekken 8 ranks are less than tekken 7 and it takes a bit longer to rank up, but it gives you more points and easier to keep your rank. Tekken 5 and tekken 6 are the hardest to rank up because you lose or win the same points and there is no stack points, but it does differentiate the level of players. Tekken 8 especially benefits the noobs because the hardest part for previous tekken is defense, backdashes and punishment, but in tekken 8 you can still win without any defense and backdashes.
