- Continuing the series, I count 50 things that are wrong with Pokemon Legends Arceus! Most people tend to be divided on this Pokemon game, but why? Could this Pokemon game have that many problems? This isn't meant to bash on the game, as you all know I love Pokemon. Just to take a look at some of the things people thought were the worst parts.

Love the game, completing the Pokédex was a bit of a hassle if you are almost at the end, but the arceus fight was worth it (even though it's overshadowed by the battle before arceus, good god that fight was something else!).

I wouldn't have minded that. I love completing the pokedex in the games. I find it very relaxing

Can't tell you how many times I've gone back and watched all your 50 things series. Can't believe how long it's been
I like the game, I wish they put more time on the maps though. Some of it felt like a randomly generated bmap from spor. The bog map also felt like S.T.A.L.K.E.R which was a weird mix for me. I'm still loving the game though.

I certainly love playing the game in Legends arceus style. We get to travel around the region like an open world and we get to catch pokemon while adapting to the environment. And since this is part of the main games, I for one would like to see future games like this but with some more battles.

People that are saying this is a Breath of the Wild knock off is ridiculous, cause that's litterally what everyone wanted it to be. I'm not saying the game is perfect, no game is but come on people. You litterally asked for a Breath of the Wild like Pokemon game and now you complain that is is a knock off?

This game is not breath of the wild, not even in the same league. And to compare is insulting to BOTW

Dude, that's what people have been saying since gen 5... and it never changes. Gamefreak, for whatever reason, will not put their all into Pokemon anymore. They're trying to find the perfect balance between lowest possible effort and highest possible profit at this point. They're burnt out.
But rather than let someone fresh and innovative take a crack at the franchise, they'll continue to release game after game, until the diminished returns are not good enough anymore. It took 20 years for a new snap to come out, because the CEO of the pokemon company refused to let the project move forward without something "revolutionized" the concept.. and then let bandai namco release a new one with even fewer innovative ideas and features than the first game.
If people would stop making excuses for gamefreak's bullshit and hold them accountable, then maybe, MAYBE Legends Arceus could have been the perfect game it deserved to be. But no one did. Half the fan base keeps making excuses and simping for gamefreak, and consume whatever crap they're thrown because they'd rather put up with garbage games rather than admit that the other side might have been on to something.
It feels so heart-warming to see that im not the only one who comes back to people like Brandon when theyve been going through these hard times. I didnt even think youd still be around but most from that time are still hanging around beyond some "certain" ones. the fact that people like you, Tama, Jwittz, True Green, TT, Orange, M&J, etc are still kicking can't help but bring a smile to my face. Especially as a now adult creator who still plays the games to this day
i really wish they'd put more time into how pokemon interact with the world and each other like in pokemon snap. I want to walk into a cave and find an ursaring hibernating with its kids, step over a rock which turns out to be a geodude that attacks, I want to see a herd or ponyta running through the fields, a flock of bird pokemon migrating to another part of the map at a certain time of year. Most of all though, i want Dratini and Slowpoke!

I wish to play a R-rated Pokemon game someday. In which I play as the villain and do all sorts of crimes especially murdering people who block our paths for the progression in the story. But I don't think this will ever happen.😔
The AT2020 honestly sounds fine! If you really wanna step it up you could probably do an XLR mic. The standard has become/has been the Shure SM7B and the RE20 so they are great if you can afford them. Shure MV7 is also really good and a bit more inexpensive.
Also might look at AKG P420 or other AT mics, but compared to your current set up you really might be fine!

Pretty awesome game thats hard to put down. The draw distance seems to be exaggerated in this vid or it's not nearly as bad in my game. The only graphical glitch i've had is in battle the grass flickers a lot. My only issue is not enough trainer battles which I guess makes sense for the time line but also bag space

A small gripe I have is that Cherubi is way to hard to get it only spawns in specific areas and only in shaking trees

Meanwhile I’m struggling to get even a second Pichu, as the only one I caught was an alpha… and I’ve not seen a single Munchlax. I know they both show up in the first area and the specific locations they spawn at, but I’ve checked for literal days and nothing :(

I haven’t seen your videos in so long hope you are doing well. I haven’t played Pokémon regularly since Emerald. But now that I finally have a Switch I hope to get back into it. This game doesn’t look too bad to me. Looks like a new but old way of playing this classic game. Great video.

One thing that piss me up with this game: in battle, who attacks first. Even if i prepared an attack in speed mode, slower enemy attacks first with a no-priority attack.
Once, the enemy hit me 3 times straight and i couldn't do anything

A good microphone I use for streaming is the tonor microphone, it's suuuuuuper sensitive I will admit but it's so nice to use. I think it's like 25ish bucks

Okay so, I need to know why people think Pokemon on the _Switch_ is gonna look like Miles Morales with ray tracing orsomething. It looks better than I ever thought a pokemon game could look. I just think some of the textures and some colors could be a little better.
Flying pokemon from a distance are jittery because the game would probably self destruct if their animations loaded on at 100% immediately. Three Staraptors flying around perfectly simultaneously? Yeah, I don't think so. Need to keep in mind the Switch is still pretty limited and Pokemon is a pretty demanding game.
I dunno why we don't have pokemon following us. I'm a little confused on that. And the double/multiple pokemon battles is really annoying to me, too

I think this game would have looked way better in something more similar to how SWSH was done but they're experimenting and that's fine. I never said this is the best Pokemon could ever hope to be, but being as limited as Pokemon is on the Switch, they're really not that bad at all
Also when facing Volo ( a fight which I found extremely challenging) after beating him you would have to face giritina with the remaining health you have from fighting him and I am still stuck on this point.
4:08 - either that or multi target attacks should hit multiple targets. Shyt the trainer gets hit by them. I’m tired of seeing overheat knock me over and go through one glalie only to hit the haunter next to it cuz I forgot to target glalie specifically.

Honestly an at2020 is a pretty good mic for the price point. By the time you get into higher quality mics you’d have to probably get an interface to run the mic through. Which would probably end up being $400-500 (on the cheaper side) for everything depending on what you get.

The only thing I legitimately don’t like about this game is how amazing it is. I grew up with the original Gen 4 games and have been waiting for a remake of them since ORAS. I was really hoping for a game like ORAS but with Gen 4. After years and years of waiting, I finally get the Gen 4 remakes I’ve been waiting for, only to learn that Game Freak isn’t even making it and just sidelined it for Legends Arceus. BDSP kinda disappointed me. Not just because it wasn’t made by Game Freak, but because it felt like a copy and paste. ORAS took the original Gen 3 games and redid the story and added all the new features like mega evolution. BDSP is literally just the original games but in HD. I know it might seem stupid to hate on Legends Arceus because of this, and I really do like Legends, but seeing the game I’ve been waiting years for getting sidelined is a little insulting

I love how most of the issues with this game can be boiled down to the models and world not being of the highest quality, which is likely thanks to the Switch's relatively weak hardware.
The game is fantastic and if they make more games of this style, I am going to be a happy man.

Also Skyrim runs on the thing and even that looked better than Legends Arceus even though the game is like 10 years old.
@@cannabishornliu6119 Yeah no, no Skyrim does not. Skyrim looks just as bad if not worse and has a lot of other issues (ive played the Switch version a week ago).
The Switch is sadly a weak piece of hardware, we can't sugarcoat that.

But if Breath of Wild (also with its own problems) ran perfectly fine while BEING an actual open world with LIVING NPCs and monsters in it why are Pokémon in Legends Arceus still just lifeless puppets on strings instead of living beings?
For example a sleeping Snorlax is in the distant.
A little Pokémon approaches it and starts jumping on its belly.
Snorlax wakes up and 1. let it continue or 2. gets furious and scares the little Pokémon away.
@@cannabishornliu6119 I agree BOTW is simply a better game grafically. There are a lot of grafics issues in Arceus, that could be fixed but I assume most of them come from the hardware or the difficulties developers face when building for said hardware.

Why from hardware?
Game Freak did Sword and Shield and now Legends Arceus.
You can say that Sword and Shield was like s test for Arceus because of the Wild Area.
Legends suffers THE SAME mistakes like Sword and Shields Wild Areas.
1. Lifeless Pokémon with no interactions with world and other Pokémon
2. Empty fields with nothing to explore.
3. Stupid locations for Pokémon like Garchomp in a snow area in Arceus.

I absolutely agree that it is a damn shame this game doesn’t have voice acting. There is a reason for this, however.
Since some games require you to name your main protagonist, including Pokémon, then that means that it’s impossible for voice acting to be used, since there is no way they could say your protagonist’s name when there are infinite possibilities for your name. This is something that A Hat In Time actually found a method for fixing, by making the characters in game say your name in gibberish. There’s even an in universe explanation for that. Play the game, the explanation is awesome.
I do, however, like the idea of characters making grunts during dialogue. It’s actually a thing that the Yo Kai Watch games do, by having the characters say preset voice recordings with dialogue. That’s something Pokémon could do for future entries, and if so, I’m here for that.
I've been really loving the game. I agree about all the graphical things mentioned in this list, however the game has been so fun for me I can overlook them. If they impeded gameplay I would have more of an issue. And, come on Gamefreak its 2022 stop copy pasting the same character model- especially when there are so few characters! Also, it's 2022 why do we not have voice acting?! Cut scenes seem so uncomfortably quiet.
I do disagree about the battle system- I like the strong and agile moves a lot and the way you make your pokemon learn new moves is a lot better. I also disagree about trainer battles- maybe a couple more but I like not having them. The trainer battles of other games are so... dragging and boring. Also it makes sense for the setting; most people are scared of and don't know much about pokemon, why would there be trainers all over the place?

Hyperx quad caster mic is an Inexpensive Mic for the quality you get with it its fantastic would look into that is you want best Quality for price. I would also recommend picking up a pop filter it has a Built-in one but an extra 1 helps it sound a lot better.

It's fun, but definitely unpolished. It could use some extra work.
But I don't really want the main series to go this direction. Maybe if we had 1 classic style game and 1 legends style game instead of 3 versions of the same game, but that's being pretty hopeful.
Some people find Pokemon stale, but I've always found the consistency comforting. No matter how old I get, I can come back to Pokemon and have that same experience. I don't want radical gameplay shifts or wildly different plotlines. I just want Pokemon.
