Who grinds their own breakfast meat at 6am?
I'm guessing you're supposed to have the minced meat and shredded potatoes with starch already prepared cause that's too much work.
For real. Simple is: dump cereal into bowl. Add milk. Eat.
You can grind a bunch at once and freeze them to use later. Grinding your own mince is to ensure the quality of the meat.
Most pre-ground meat are just the gristle and low quality parts that can't be sold.
@@georgiegan Ground meat are often made from meat scraps but that doesn't mean it's low quality. It is actually a great way of minimizing food waste and also being respectful of the animal by using all parts of it. If the animal lived a happy life and the meat is ground with enough fat percentage, then you can probably guarantee that the ground meat is of high quality and tastes great.
@@georgiegan I've found good quality pre-ground meats. I will make up my own sausage patties (not the morning of, for sure!) But in such cases for breakfast, I'll cook a patty, fry an egg or two, and toss in the skillet some spinach or other quick cooking veggie, and eat that. Usually without bread since I am no fan of buns, but on decadent days I'll toast up an English muffin and use butter. Definitely NOT on mornings where I have to run somewhere, though!

The good thing about sharp cheddar is that cheese looses flavor when cooked -- a super sharp cheddar still has some flavor after cooking.
If you just want melty fatty goodness, a slice of Muenster is far superior to American pasteurized processed cheese-food.

There's this place in Cincinnati called Sleepy Bee that makes their potatoes like that. They are so freakin good. Happy I've finally stumbled across an easy step by step way to make them myself.

It is not even a press. It is basically a pour over filter that you put on the cup. Hot water and wait... Espresso by the way. I use expresso when I try to make fun of wannabe Italians ;)

When people think American cheese they always think of the processed bright orange individually wrapped squares, but the american cheese ive been getting for my burgers comes from a farmers market near me and is made by the Amish. @@CasperInkyMagoo They weren't overpaid. The BIPOC staff were underpaid. The white staff (for the most part, certainly including Molly) absolutely deserved the pay they got, but it's shameful and atrocious that the rest of them weren't also paid similarly.
The situation at BA was discriminatory and horrible, but by all accounts, it was the fault of management, executives, and a select few of the personalities, and others (including Molly) had nothing to do with it.
