  • With the help of a friend of mine, I made a wooden box to store a popular card game. I had some friends visiting from out of town, and we decided to play this popular card party game, but with my expansions they don't all fit in the box. My friend is a fellow woodworker, so we came up with a basic design for a game storage box and got to work on it.
The only material used for this build was 38" and 1/4" baltic birch plywood and PVA glue. It could easily be extended or widened to add capacity for additional cards or other items.

That looked like a lot of work, so many pieces and steps

Ryan Sheppard It's not too bad. The trick is really to break things down into a parts list, and to work out the order in which to make all your cuts before starting. That extra 15-20 minutes of planning can save a lot of time and frustration in the shop.
