- I design a small fighter for community dogfights on our survival server! The goal for this ones is a simple design that is fun to fly and has clear weak points. This will give pilots something to play around and make failure a beautiful explosion. May the best pilot win!

Low cost and looks like it would be fun to fight with especially if we are just going to be doing dog fights.
Yup, should be easy to print up a bunch of these, and I think they're pretty well balanced for what we'll be doing.

Good luck and have fun! The game is endless hours of entertainment if you enjoy building things. Take it at your own pace and don't worry too much about what/how others build or say you should. As long as you're having fun, you're doing it right.
I would also add light armor plates just to add some protection around the battery but that I a great design as is

The big gun could B used for stationary targets & the gats for dogfighting, specialization.
I've found that I usually swap the gatlings for autocannons in my survival playthroughs. They seem to work better for me against most targets.
mate one of the cloaking device i will be adding is(there like little smoke pellets ,cakes great for landing under fire fighthing dark co;ours r good red smoke when they come down to check out ya damage you fly out shooting.
Interesting, what happens if they target lock you?
@@ShiftyshadowTV im not that high tec my friend, setting off a smoke bomb by remote control is as far as my brain can do.self taught.

If it's for survival I think you'll want at least one small cargo container for reloads
I've used it a bit in survival, the connector and cockpit hold enough ammo to last through most fights. The ship tends to get shot down (or shoot down its target) before I run out.
I’m so bad at making fighters and any large grid ship, large (small grid) ships though, I am great at, same with rovers
Nice. Everyone has things they're good, and bad, at. Large small-grid ships are some of my favorite.
mate u can get these smoke cakes that u heat up by rc and no one will be fo;;owing u they cant see ,it works great.i love red and blue smoke.
Just got this game, kinda confusing with the mechanics so far on what you need for a ship haha.
I'm planning to put together a shipbuilding basics video, it's always a tad confusing for new players and it's very easy to overcomplicate the problem.
How to build from both sides at the same time?
If you mean the mirroring, and you're paying on PC, N and M are the hotkeys to toggle it on and off, and set the planes you want to mirror across.

Im just sad you took the autocannons and arty off.
I have a version that uses autocannons instead of gatlings, but I've found that having 3+ different types of guns is less fun for me, and less functional.
@@ShiftyshadowTV makes sense, whatever works best for you of course. I personally liked the way those different weapon systems looked. But functionality is important! Lol.
