To celebrate the festive season, Carnaby are offering you the chance to win one of six NOW Christmas and NOW 86 CD packages. To win we shall be testing your Christmas pop knowledge, all you have to do is tell us how many SLADE banners appear in the 'Merry Xmas Everybody' video.

Love this version when the drummer does his own thing. Hard to believe it was recorded in August of that year!
From what i remember it was recorded for a Dutch music program and the band had been drinking earlier in the day so were well drunk.

For us music geeks, this clip is from Countdown, Netherlands December 1983. The same set here was used for Pretenders who did 2000 Miles there in the same month. Noddy wore that outfit for Top of the Pops on 15th December 1983 performing My Oh My
