@@craigt2192 yes, I did! CFOP in many ways feels somewhat like an extension of beginner's method, but with more distinct algorithms to memorize. Still, with things like 4LLL (2-look OLL + 2-look PLL) and intuitive F2L, you can probably get the hang of it in a few days.

I started learning beginner Cfop by myself by just praticing and getting faster, realizing i can incorporate new faster methods to solve fast!
Best cube solution video, very precisely explained. Solved the cube on my first day although had to slow down the playback to 0.5x. Thanks for this

But that’s how you get better. For a example you can’t analyse an old written book from Goethe if you can’t understand the odd and old language use there was back then.( as you see it’s good to improve, but this CfOP may help these ones who already can solve a cube so your skilled and so more ready to solve faster).

I started cubing years ago, I had intuitive f2l, 2 look OLL with many 1 look cases, and 1 look PLL with some “best” algorithms. I came back to cubing now, rather discouraged as I am way slower now lol. I think as much as I don’t want to, you’re right. I need to learn full F2L, it’s so important and takes the longest out of the whole solve (I’m back to intuitive f2L, 2LOLL, 1LPLL) I just always neglect it for no reason, not no reason, there’s like 40 lags needed, but it takes so long. I just need to put in the time, and get fluent with the algs.

I just like watching your videos. I’m not really a speedcuber, I just use a beginner method and get about 40-50 secs each solve on average. (3x3). I’ve tried learning F2L a little bit, but it’s really hard and at least right now much slower that how I usually solve a cube. I also always run into problems when trying F2L and that impedes my progress and discourages me from trying to learn more and perfect F2L. Just sharing my thoughts
@Coconut Bread a little late
But once you get used to situations it will be super quick
I know I am late but I don't care
This Same thing happens to me is use to forget some cases of intuitive f2l And get over 2 And half main if f2l only while it took 2 main to solve with lbl method you just have to get use to f2l its slows you down but you have to keep trying in just 2 months of practcing beginer cfop I can solve cube in 1 main And 30 sec
And I also know advanced f2l And little More than 2 look pll

normal cubing: Algorithms
Speed Cubing: Do the hell you want idc
I learned how to solve the cube in 1981. My fastest time was 51 seconds using only basic techniques. I never knew anything about speed cubing at that time. Three weeks ago I bought a cube and relearned how to work it. This time the algorithms are different from the original that came with the cube. Using only the 5 or 6 algorithms that came with the cube, I can solve it in about minutes. I am not as fast as I use to be ( I am 40 years older now) but I think I am pretty good for not having touched a cube in so many years. I'll probably never get under a minute again, but I still like watching speed cubers. There's just too many algorithms to learn for me to do it that fast now.
