  • If you are a non-traditional student, your visa interview will be more challenging that a traditional student. Whether you took a gap in your studies, already have the same degree in your home country, are older than the average age, or something else, the Visa Officer will be wondering why you didn't go through the traditional path.
    You will need to know how to present your decisions and journey to the Visa Officer in order to get approved in your visa interview.
    Someone on our team can analyze your case and help you determine the best strategy for presenting your case to the Visa Officer. You can work with someone on our team here: www.argovisa.com/?...

    I am thinking to be another type of non-traditional student: full time working and online learner at US school. I plan to be off from office, take one semester of intensive English class in US to improve my English language proficiency.

      Non-traditional student is a very broad term that covers a lot of people. This will be a slightly more challenging interview but it all depends on the facts of your situation and how you present it

    I have an higer national diploma which allows me to work in my home country. Being working after my diploma and have no gap in between. My company wants to diversify into another but complementing field, hence my desire to pursue my bachelor's degree. ARGO, please advise if this sounds convincing enough.

    I am trying to fill DS 160 form . I am currently on H1-b and have been with the same employer for past 7 years . I have put all the details of my present employer in the present employer section. Then for the previous employer it asks the information for all the previous employers in the last 5 years. I do have previous employers but they were 7 years back.
    Should i select yes or no to below question?

    Hello, I am a 25 year old who graduated at age 16 from high school. I got accepted into Anderson University in IN, I’m from Honduras. I had my appointment on Wednesday and got my visa approved. Knowing that I’m a nontraditional student I feared the possibility of being denied but I watch a lot of your videos and prepared myself for my interview and got approved. Honesty and transparency are key and also knowing your situation well and having documents to prove will help also. Thank you @argo for your great tips and videos.

      There is nothing inherently wrong about the gap, you just will need to know how to explain it. In order to give the best advice on this topic specifically, we need to better understand what your gap is and why you did it.

    All appreciation to you. Please help. I have visited America three times. The last time I stayed in America was 6 months, but I was 7 days late for my return to my country. I was staying at my friend's house for free. I had a stomach disease, and I went to the hospital twice, and the hospital papers are with me in case I visit again. Could there be a problem with the immigration officer at the airport and send me back to my country? Please help with all due respect

    Hello, your channel is really helpful for visa applicants, thank you for all the tips and suggestions! Considering the limit of approvals by month, I would like to know if the chances of approval are higher if the applicant does the visa appointment in the beginning of a month instead than doing it by end of a month. Thank you!

    Can a US citizen family friend sponsor for F1 visa?

    • @ArgoSocial
      @ArgoSocial  Před rokem

      Yes, this is permitted. The applicant will need to be prepared to talk about their funds, their relationship, and why they decided to sponsor them. This could be more difficult to explain than a more traditional sponsor. We can help you prepare how to present this to the Visa Officer.
