Each tribe in the series is addressed as a standalone entry, so there is some overlap. As always, the Berean challenge (Acts 17:11) applies to every episode of TL. It's not a coincidence that I come across this video whereas for the past few days I started reading the Book of Judges, where the Israelites are having to deal with the Amelekites. I never expected this to happen, but I believe the Holy Spirit has His way with teaching us the word of God in any way possible.

Me too. I was lead to Judges 6. I tend to come across these 'ITES" and kind of skip over it. But there was something in the story....and coming into the land of Canaan. Joshua and Caleb. Grasshoppers to the rest yet those two stood and were blessed. And then they kept on overcoming these tribes and conquered them and enjoyed, as God had promised, the promised land. Amen.

Edom was farther south than some anthropologists/archeologists believe. It all correlates that Mount Sinai is modern day Jabal al Laws, or the Mountain of Moses as the locals call it. At this sight there are amazing finds and geography that back up the Biblical account. Truly amazing stuff there. Also, I believe--and other scholars also believe--that the Amalekites were the tribe of Amalek, and Moses was anachronistically referring to the "land of the Amalekites". This would make better sense. as the Bible does say that they came from Esau. And he also is referring to the land and not the people.

Hey Thank you for that great exposition - It excites me to see your live for Jesus. Your teaching has helped me a lot. I recently went into a search of who the the songs of Heth were that Abraham bought the field of Macphela from. If they were giants or not - Also whether the Philistines are the same people living in the middle east today.
There are persons in this world right now, including yourself, who collectively need to understand the reality of the world we live in right now.
Everyone refers to these books and history as if that was in the past, and with smiles can comfortably talk with authority about these ancient realities. You and many others should be brought into the fold of events happening today - right NOW.
I am not an expert on that history, other than finding proof of historical accuracy and finding passages that describe the kinds of things that I and tens of thousands have inadvertently stumbled into and from that point forward were targeted as knowers. Once you know, they more or less attach themselves to you and your life. You can move across states, and it is there too. So, we are dealing with a collective conscience and descendants of the nephilim and of another effort described in the Dead Sea Scroll the Book of Giants. Enoch well understood what had occurred, and though thousands of years have passed, many, many of these creations survived and are in place all around us right now. They are hybrids, of the watchers and human genetics, of the watchers, humans and animals. That is a fact.
But in addition to these leftover creations from a very distant past, are what is described by those in the know as new creations occurring now by the same forces that are trying to destroy mankind. This is their way of telling us they are back, and humans are involved in the endeavor to increase the populations of these creations substantially.
The numbers of encounters and the wide locations of those encounters which include urban areas should be an alarm to those like yourself who seem to be assuming this was in the past and is no more. I am telling you it is, and you should be talking about this with everyone who you know who also delve into the past and educate that distant reality; because it is once again a reality today. Armies were needed then; armies are needed today. First to educate, and second to once again defeat those who are here to destroy humans. This is no joke.
Did God just smite them all then? Hope did not get rid of them the first time, and it won't handle them now; nor will God do it on His own. It is time to understand what is right in front of us being denied by a population who won't even broach this matter.

Except he didn't.
1) He used the exaggerations and words of the unfaithful spies when they expressed them as Nephalim. These spies and their distrust in God to deliver the promised land to them is the reason that Isreal wandered in the wilderness for 40 years, until that unfaithful generation had passed. The only 2 of that generation, Joshua and Caleb (and their families) got to enter into the promised land. The unfaithful spies created fear and doubt by calling them Nephelim. The people knew the truth but listened to liars and thus lost their reward.
2) The Nephilim were the result of Angels taking human form and procreating with the "daughters of men". Since this was not the case in Noah's family and his family were the only survivors of the flood, it would be safe to conclude that the Nephilim parished in the flood. That would certainly make sense in light of the fact that they were an abomination in God's eyes and were never intended to exist. At Genesis 6:17 God directly states that He is going to destroy every thing that breathes on the Earth.
3) 2 Peter 2:4,5 clearly shows that God punished those Angels and chained them and imprisoned them in a place called Tartarus and they would remain there until judgement day, so they could no longer produce children with mankind. The Nephilim died in the flood. They were flesh, not spirit. Their fathers were spirit and God locked them away.
One should be careful when listening to others, as we can see from the example of Isreal listening to the 10 unfaithful spies. (I'm not saying anything bad about the presenter, it's just a word of caution).
When all the scriptures are looked at with reason is clear that God destroyed them along with any lineage.
All post flood humans came thru one line of man, Noah.
Any genetic differences were the result of genetic isolation or deformities. Just like today some people are born giant some are dwarf and every thing in between.
Just by reason, the Bible is clear, the Nephilum were destroyed in the flood and had no offspring. It's really simple to deduce and the Bible helps us.

My question as a Christian trying to answer the lost who say "God is a murderer and why should we worship a murderer"?. @@mikepalmer2219 There is no evidence of child sacrifices. All inhabitants of the area were polytheistic at the the time, even the ancestors of the Israelites. They didn’t start worshipping a monotheistic god until around the time of the exile in Babylon, when the priests who returned from Babylon compiled and wrote all the stories of the OT in order to exhort the worship of one god and re-enforce their authority over the people in the lands they were returning to.

You glossed right over what is meant by unknown origin. And you never meantioned the reason for the Israelites not wanting the sun to go down until the one important battle was over.

Jacob and Esau did have the same origins, but look to Esau’s wives. At least two of them were Canaanite women from progenitor Nephilim/Rephaim tribes.
Nephilim were not completely human, which is why God told Joshua to wipe out all men, women and children of certain tribes. This seems ridiculous to some, but it's what a plain reading of the Bible forces an honest man to conclude. I believe it's true.

Learning the genealogies behind the tribes is the biggest help in my research. They serve as a marker that you can trace through the scripture when tracking down specific bloodlines. I use several study tools when I research as well: E-Sword, a 27 Translation Bible, Thayer’s Greek Lexicon, and others. It’s a tedious process, but very rewarding.
@@VG-rj8pn Maybe you are right, but how do you read those lines mentioning "nephilim" or giants then? I mean of course we have to have a focus on Jesus himself, but nevertheless these things are playing a role if we want to have arguments on our side. The slowly upcoming universal "one world religion" (the teachings of the old mystery schools and unification of science and religion with philosophy) will be unbelievable attractive to people as it's visable now allready and it's a counterfeit of what the bible says. Imagine cataclysmic events, which will push this probably even further onto a whole new level. It will let us look like idiots, old fashioned, hindering the progress of the so called "evolution of conciousness", they will hate us. I don't see a problem with this to find out a bit more about history and ourselfes to have some arguments more on our side, as long as the Bible supports it. Open minded people who are potential victims to the occult candy, have questions when we tell them another version of the same story. Being able to answer at least a bit of it, without covering up the gospel, in opposite - could be good. I say this because I'm facing all these questions allready when I'm debating with these self declared "alternative people". Sometimes it does not make sense to debate any further, just the gospel and thats it. But there are also some people who are open enough, but need more patience and time and they are asking for these things.
The question of how to read this, on the other hand, what does it really mean, stays important at the same time though - no objections here by me. But your short statement isn't the whole answer from my view. It isn't that easy, simple and one dimensional, I would say. I'm happy that there are believers in Christ who are interested in these topics, this has a value in my eyes. How big or small the outcome really is, is not unimportant and related, but a different question.

God doesn't fail at what He sets out to do nor is He short sighted enough to miss the tainted blood in one among a hand picked set of survivors. He killed the original nephilium down to the very last. More angels fell prey to the same lust after the flood, but I would imagine it was significantly fewer of them since they were aware of the penalty for doing so. The rest of the original genome was likely recovered and reimplanted into a few tribes by fallen angels, like Satan, who haven't been cast into the abyss yet.
