FUN FACT: blow out hair and stretch hairstyles make your hair grow longer quicker than wash n go’s
EDIT: I know wash n go’s grow hair you just get faster results with stretch hair‼️ Roller sets , blow outs , twist and braid outs ect.

@@AestheticallyRay0124 the sebum can travel down the hair when its stretched and straightened. also less tangling and single strand knots so theres less detangling and mechanical breakage
@@AestheticallyRay0124 sebum (oil) when you have so much products on your hair it can't travel fast thats why when blacks have their hair stretch it gets oily over time (twist out, braid outs, rod sets, blow dry, blow out) are all good stretch hair styles I completely stop doing wash and gos this year and my hair grew so much than normal

That's a slight misconception. It does nothing to make the hair grow faster. Hair growth starts from the root, not the ends. What you're describing is more of the possibility of it being a more protective style that maintains length, but it doesn't actually help the hair in growing longer.

I love it! But your method is healthier you can air dry it about 70% & then blow dry and you’ll avoid a lot of heat

and do you need to use heat to curl it before the twirler method or can you just go from straightening the hair to using the twirler method without curling it with heat beforehand?

My hair is more like hers and thankfully even less frizzy. She’s the only CZcamsr I watch for hair content because she actually cares and knows about her own hair and it’s similar to my texture. And to answer your question, just likr white folk, black people hair come in different varieties. Some hold the curl pattern even after 100% drying. It hurts to comb out the curls after they are dry for me, I can only do it wet. And other hairs lose the curl pattern after drying. Some don’t form much of a pattern and they rock fros immediately after a wash even while hair is not fully dry.
Hi! It depends, if its really dry or too voluminous ill put a little bit of a light weight oil and if its oily ill use some dry shampoo but thats about it. & you can definitely use the roller without curling your hair first, you’ll just have looser curls.

I normally wear a wig cap and then a shower cap on top and it works for me
headband around my edges and I either keep it in the silk roller or put it in a bun and use a shower cap
Damn. I'm pissed. LOL. I've been out hear getting my hair relaxed every few months, burning my sculpt, weakening my hair and burning through money when I could have just been doing a silk press the entire time. (I ended up doing a big chop recently because it had gotten so damaged from relaxers, heat and dye.) I had this wacky idea in my head that I couldn't get my hair that straight without chemicals. I've been so wrong this whooole timeeee lol.

These girls don't workout :) A silk press wouldn't last 2 weeks and look that nice for someone with an active lifestyle unless they were retouching with heat (which defeats the purpose)
I dont workout regularly:( however, if you work out at home separate your hair into 4-6 ponytails, wear a headband and spray dry shampoo on your roots this will help combat sweat a little and since your hair is sectioned out more air will get to your scalp. This usually works for me
