You are the First to note It! Unfortunately Tanak's clip was ruined due too some spectators that covered the Jump, so I found this solution 😅

It's the turbo anti-lag systems. Back in the 90s you only had manifold injection so there was only so much you could do with late spark-timing. Now you have engines with direction injection where you can add petrol in the cylinder even during the exhaust stroke (when the exhaust valve is open) to keep the turbo spinning fast. It does however give more of a burping rather than a popping sound.
Immagine when even rally will be electric...maybe faster but non of these amazing sounds....sad times ahead

Try playing dirt rally 2 with no co driver
It's just a hard-to-spot turn. It's a blind turn and there's a straight road that continues ahead. Confusing even if you get a call out.
