- The 3.5 mile roundtrip hike to Comet Falls packs a punch for a reasonably short hike. The all uphill trek to Comet Falls follows the beautiful Van Trump Creek which has quite a few smaller yet amazing waterfalls along the way. The destination of the hike was the 320 ft tall Comet Falls. It was magnificent!

Not an easy hike, kudos! It is a favorite for sure. If you can afford the time next time continue on up to Van Trump Park and above....any crowds disappear and you get right up next to the Mt 😀
Hello! We thought of going to the park but others we ran into said it was hard to navigate due to snow. We’ve been fortunate to do some amazing hikes at Mt Rainer. It’s a remarkable NP.

Hope you are alright, because I notice that you posted this video just a few weeks ago, but it was shot in June 23.
We're doing well. We stop traveling October - March and enjoy the Florida winters with a lot of R&R. We want to make sure we have videos to publish year around so we've slowed the release of them temporarily to one a month. An upcoming knee replacement will make 2024 a little different for us but we expect to be putting vids out at least once a month this year. Thanks for your concern :)
