Back then every arena had It's own look and feel to it. Today every arena looks the same

Beautiful original 6 uniforn matchup and some awesome firewagon hockey. the habs puck movement on their first two goals was a thing of beauty

Wow back then a few wore helmets with visors, most with just helmets, and even a few helmet less warriors!

skif, thank you for adding these Foley-Tallen audio highlights. It sounds just like how I remember listening to them on the radio. I have just found two of them, so I will be searching for some more of your work.

1:54- like how Nancy goes right from "Can't get no-Satisfaction" to "Hit me with your best Shot" here. nice sequence.

And Dougie Wilson. We hear about Iafrate...Macinnis. But Doug Wilson had a heavy cannon of a shot that even Roy couldnt handle from that distance.
    and wearing a helmet!??
Nostalgic for that old Winston cigarette ad on the scoreboard for some reason. I even remember the ads in the building

@@johnkelly8416 of all the old barns Chicago Stadium was the most solid and well maintained. it didnt go down without a fight. a great arena. maybe the greatest and certainly the loudest.

This current Hawks team should watch how that Hawks team ran the power play. Shoot the puck and go to the net. Yes we don't have Al Secord but you need to get a big body in front of the net.
