Yeah thanks for posting this. I remember this game the CBS cameraman zoomed in on Blair Thomas in the tunnel right before they ran out. You could actually see his face through his face mask and he was waving and smiling. I had never seen that before.
I good was Tony Rice ☘️ Had to prove he was an ND man. From Prop 48 to being the last ND qb to lead the team to a Natty. Imo the ‘89 team was better than ‘88☘️
Amazing how good that ND secondary was. There was NOTHING ever open downfield for PSU. No matter how long those two PSU QBs had time to throw. Absolute blankets. Not so much today.
Notre dame baby go Irish
Lou Holtz always had the Irish rocking. Contenders for national title. Let's go Irish.
Loved Notre Dame’s offense under Holtz!
This was probably the most dominant rushing performance by an opponent ever in Beaver Stadium

Tough Physical Game. Holtz vs Paterno! Awesome Football. Go Irish!!

It was better indeed. Ashame they were neutered before Miami game that year as they were better than Miami that year as well
That was a great backfield for the Irish
Thanks for posting this game
Tony rice wasn't great we would won back to back titles I think 93 team was better they didn't even win the title
Man, their stadium gas grown so much over the last 30 years.
