Which famous tennis player have you met and what impression did he make?
You are useless
jajaja your video is wrong jose luis clerc never win a grand slam

David Ferrer doesn't have a grand slam title.
@@dusandrobnjak5646 we know... this d umb is d.umb... he is deleting the fact that he is d. UMB
Borg 66 titles and retired at 26 yo...that's something really impressive!
Many people said that Borg wasnt the goat only because he wouldnt
26 is peak level in sport why surprised?😅
@@dachochiyo3992because all the other top players nowadays have added many important wins after the age of 26.
Having said that he never won the US Open or Australian Open.
Wow, had not realised Borg had so many titles in such a short period of time...! Those above him had a decade longer careers!! Holy moly.
@@dachochiyo3992 when other players reached the peak Borg stopped to play..is it not surprising for you ? How many more title he could have playing until 35/38 yo like others did?
Jose Luis Clerc is Argentine , not Spanish
And not win GS
Clerc ...español y con 3 grand slam??? ANIMAL !!!!

David Ferrer did not have any grand slam title.
Yeah i thought the same😂

Good catch

Yea I just saw that
What the GS won David Ferrer? When? Where? 😮
yes, it's a typo, it's my mistake, sorry
@@A-ListAvenue-pe7hcno, you are dumb... do your research... typo my ass...

One of many !
Thanks! I was going crazy because I was sure Ferrer only did a final in french open.
@@A-ListAvenue-pe7hc you are dumb
Very few have won more than 50 titles and only 5 have won more than 90.
1. Connors - 109
2. Federer - 103
3. Djokovic - 98
4. Lendl - 94
5. Nadal - 92
6. McEnroe - 77
7. Laver - 72
8. Borg - 66
9. Nastase - 65
10. Sampras - 64
11. Vilas - 62
12. Agassi - 60
Djokovic soon to move above Federer i am certain! Whether he'll top this chart by moving ahead of Connors or not remains an open conversation though, depending on several factors...such as further career longevity and average success rates...which means how much longer he can keep going winning 4-5 titles per season (please not that last season, when he won 7 titles was sole exception and rare anomaly compared to the previous five, when wouldn't win more than 4 or 5 titles...), i'm pretty sure he'll get past Federer at some point, i am just uncertain he can win 12 more of them, seems like a lot with his most recent reduced schedule and decreased strike rate...
But how many more seasons he will play should also be factored in...because if he'll keep his word and play until Olympics in LA in 2028, then it's plenty of opportunities to squeeze past number 109...but if we are looking at just a couple of seasons more (the end of 2026 latest!), then this might not be enough to do the job...we'll see soon enough!
@@Summon256
-- Currently, Djokovic's biggest goal is to win the Olympics Gold Medal in Singles Tennis this Summer at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
-- If he wins that and does not win another Grand Slam this year he may well call it quits.
-- He has played in only 5 tournaments this year and that includes the current Rome Masters!
I'm sorry, but this list is so wrong! 8 men missing (E.Dibbs, N.Davydenko, R.Ramirez, B.Gilbert, T,Engqvist, M. Rios, A.Corretja). Grand Slam Titels sometimes counted for singles alone, sometimes doubles titles were also counted. I love lists. But only if there are correct.
Y el chino ríos porque no está
Gilbert was kept off the list because he won "ugly."
Tom Okker never won singles Grand slam.
Don’t know how trustworthy this is after seeing Ferrer listed with one grand slam
The guy said it was a typo.
Y Clerc tampoco ganó GS
@@LordAbhor Then he should be appologising for hundreds more of them...lmao
Marcelo Rios isn´t in this list. He got 18 titles. Please rectify.

My favourite is Edberg. His volley and backhand were excellent.
"Excellent" being an understatment.
Stefan would skillfully arch his back then thrust himself forward to cover the possible passing lanes as athletically as a big cat feline at net
Great and wonderful
Rod Laver won 11 slam titles not 5 and he is the only one who won 2 grand slams.
some where pre-open era but there are lots of mistakes. Harold Solomon and David Ferrer never won a slam
Not the same. Sorry.
He did many mistakes in the video, but this is not the case...this is more like the case of someone not capable of reading title of the video properly...
And nobody cares about amateur era anyway, open era is the only one that matters...it wasn't even a proper tennis what they were playing in 60's or earlier! Lol
@@Summon256 were the rules the same as open era? Than it was proper tennis……it is like saying that amateur boxing is not proper boxing. This is more like the case of someone wanting to brag.
José Luis Clerk (30) es de Argentina! No de España, corrijan ese detalle!
Además no ganó grand slam

This is really bad. Ferrer did NOT win a grand slam. Laver stats are wrong too
He won 7 didn't he?
and Clerc
The video is about the open era only, hence the Laver stats.
Ahhhhh - Roger was sooooo close to tying Connors.
Not really. Six titles are a lot.
Jimmy won Masters 100, 50, 25, 15.....
Who do you think you are deceiving. Jose Luis Clerc never won any Grand Slams, never even made any GS finals. And secondly, he's from Argentina and not Spain.
This is what happens when you trust OpenAI chatbot to compile lists such as these...LOL 😆
I think Djokovic will surpass Federer but can't over take Connors looking at his dip in form. He should have won Monte Carlo but didn't have the energy at his age.
David ferrer won a grandslam?? Where?
Jokowick best
Only player in the world to be ranked no 1 in 3 decades🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉....now beat that
I don't believe Harold Solomon ever won a grand slam title.
Never won a GS!!
He made the French open final in 1976. Lost to Panatta
Djokovic will not catch Connors, not even Federer. It's very difficult for him to win five titles more at his age
Grand Slam has no match with other titles. It is not the same to win 250 atp tour comparing to the GS. This means nothing.
Seems quite possible till 2022 season end, until the likes of Sinner, Alcaraz, Rune and Rudd were not geared up as the best of next gen superstar.
Novak may have the most points won. However Sampras and federer are the most missed for bringing tennis to new levels.
What GS title David Ferer won???
Where is Marcelo Rios? He won 18 titles.
No existe. A llorar a otra parte😂
Quien??
Guga, the best.
Wrong, this titles are Manolo Santana
A few errors spoted but a good way to compare
Yes, Borg was and remains within the cream of the crop of best-ever players. By retiring at 26 years old, He denied himself the title of GOAT. A complete and unequivocal GOAT is and MUST be willing and eager to compete and EARN MORE titles, and that's Novak Djokovic, the one and only GOAT at this moment.
I'd like to know just how tennis fans ranks the titles, most prestigious tiers and downwards, and in which tier Olympics gold should be put at?
1:31 😂 Batata Clerc español y con tres GS
As far as I'm aware Connors still has the open era record with 109.
👏👏👏
Please correct Rod Laver's data.
Data since 1968. Since the beginning of the Open Era. Information from Wikipedia
Rod Laver won 192 singles titles in a 16 year period (1960-75). That is an an average of 12 titles per year for 16 years.
He won a total of 198 singles titles from 1957-75 (2 in 1957, 3 in 1958 and 1 in 1959).
I took the information from Wikipedia. This listing dates back to Open Era (1968), sorry
@@A-ListAvenue-pe7hcI figured since Laver has 11 majors in total
Those were the days when players played 40 tourneys on grass in an year.

Rod Laver only has 5 grand slams? I'm shocked.
Marcelo Rios 19 titles and Tom okker not win GS!!
Tom Okker are still looks like James Caan.
Laver had more than 5 GS titles, and Ferrer had none.
Ferrer 0 grand slams, 1 paris masters
Your Grand Slam totals... for many of these players are all messed up (incorrect).
Sampras forever
The term GOAT or even implied did not exist at the time of Borg. This has only come in the last 10 years or so. In fact, back then top players didn't treat the slams as the be all or end all as some didn't play the Australian and some had to skip the French due to Team Tennis. They didn't know that many years later people would use slam count as the way to rate them historically.
Manolo Santana should be in the vídeo: 3 Grand Slams. 20 titles
Vilas !!!!!
José Luis Clerc es de ARGENTINA.
Lendl vs. McEroe
Sampras vs. Agassi
Feder vs. Nadal.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Fedal vs Djokovic😗
Marcelo Rios Play Padel?
Understand but it would be useful to mention it. However I think a list such as this should include players and titles even before the Open Era. This way we miss Roy Emerson who is the only player with a Grand Slam in both singles and doubles
Q grande q fue. Guillermo Vilas . 62 titulos 4 grand slam .
didn't know Nadal is only one year older than Djokovic...if only Rafa was not so injuried during his career he would have been in the top for sure...one of the great strenght of Nole was also to stay healty most of his career! What an era we had the pleasure to watch with the best of the very best of tennis thanks to Nole Roger and Rafa!🥲
Also Rafa reached the top 50 when he was 16 so his pro career was less gradual - he skyrocketed early so a lot harsher on his body early.

This list is FULL OF ERROR regarding the grand slam number !!!!!
N1. N.Jokovic
Laver 11 GS

You haven't given an accurate picture, because you haven't stated whether these are singles and/or doubles titles, particularly when you credit Grand Slam titles. For example, Harold Soloman and Cliff Richey, who did not win any Grand Slam titles in singles.
Jimmy Connors , the most impressive if you see in live ...

Are these totals only as professionals? For instance Laver won 6 slams as an amateur - but only 5 as a pro (after the slams went Open in 1968). And Roy Emerson - who won 12 slams as an amateur - isn’t there at all?
