  • In this video, I'll be trying to make a (working) harp that is played by the wind rather than hands! And of course, I'll be making it mostly out of scrap.

I want to suggest something for you. A violin plays when you use resin on the bow. Go to a music store and buy a block of resin and slide it up and down the strings. The roughness of the resin will catch the wind on the strings and make them sing.

On the cliff you should have tried different angles, it looks to me that it was not aligned with the wind. also, keep in mind,. wind speed and direction are dynamic. go back to the cliff~put the thing on a whieel so that it rotates

Great video. My respect also for fighting with recording in the wind what is hardest part. This is why I gave up building acoutic harps and make them with pickups

You're making the harp with Irish influences, it's only fair that you get some of the weather as well

Donºt forget the ancient Greeks! The name of the instrument is after Aeolios the god of the wind!
