What was your favorite feature I talked about? 👇🏼 Also to clarify I am aware of the 5 holes having already been a thing. It was more so the way I worded it in the video that may have caused some confusion. I was saying it's "new" because before it was insanely rare to get the "1.5" and "2.5" holes so the pvp community always just went by tier 1 2 and 3 because of the other 2 holes practically never appearing. But now with the addition of scattershot the fact that there are the other tiers is something to be more aware of because the other 2 tiers will show up more. Before the other 2 holes only showed up when chainshot hit the same spot on a boat hull multiple times which was something that would almost never happen. So pvp people would just default to "3 tiers" even when there's 5. Now people will more so have to keep in mind that there's 5 tiers. Hopefully this makes things more clear 😉👍🏼

@@Krasnoludek-Dodil I don't think that makes a difference, I think in HG you didn't really get tier 2 or 4 holes because you'd need people to hit chains on the same spot multiple times which basically never happens. It also isn't talked about, even I say ''tier 3'' because people know what I mean. I do agree it's quite funny that he said it's new without checking though.

The bonecaller spawns 3 per pirate. If you are on a gally of 4, then each of you could use your own bonecrawler. Spawning a total of 12 skellies.

theres a bug with the double barreled flintlock where when u shoot 2 at once, change weapon, sprint , change back and reload it will play a shorter animation (game got ghostbeared so I THINK thats how u do it, but its smthng like that) its the most minor thing ever though, propbably wont help much

Is it the same as with other guns, as in tapping the 'drop loot' key twice to quickly holster and draw the gun again to start the reload animation sooner after firing?
I got a tip for some people looking for scattershots: I found a like enough to get me to 30 something just at a seapost alone. Try and loot some seaposts
just go to a tall tale and scuttle repeatedly with a storage crate
Great video. Just to add a few notes:
1. when you measure the angle of the harpoon, you need to be at a 90° angle in relation to the line ato avoid distorting the real value;
2. I think you can have more than 5 knives at the ground by swapping weapons and throwing then to the groud.

Didnt see you mention trying this but you can actually still sprint *with* loot on a harpoon line
the scattershot damage chart is super helpful, hadnt even thought about there being a cap to hole size on them

There was a patch recently that stops the horn refreshing, and the throwing knives can no longer block interaction with anchor or ammo crate

@gergogaal568 3 per person, so if you have a team of 4 you could get 12

You can use the throwing knives to prevent players from boarding your boat. Throw them at the bottom of your ladder when they go to grab ladder they grab your knife instead.

@@Chor-SeaOfThieves the video of sloop 1v1 and 2v2 and what to prioritize helped tremendously. Not to instantly repair every hit to stay on angle and just bucket.
@rumblevision2558 Good to hear this. That tip alone DEFINITELY is one that'll help you win fights more consistently, keeping up pressure is just as important if not even more important as defending pressure. If you're constantly just defending they will either overwhelm you and the only way you win is if the enemy runs out of supplies. So knowing how to prioritize pressure is extremely useful.

The bone-caller limit is only per player. Two people in a guild throwing a bone-caller bomb each will double the amount of skele's that spawn. Not sure if it goes beyond that, since I haven't tested that yet.
Since the knives attach to the world you can use them as fixed points for the harpoon to lock onto. Helpful for times when you can't see the spot you want to harpoon, or if it just doesn't seem to attach properly. It will target the knife but grab the land anyway.

I think you can spawn multiple skellis if everyone in your crew spawns them, so you can have up to 12 skellis on the enemy ship. however I haven't tested that because I don't have 3 other people to test it with.

To be honest I wouldn't really recommend the throwing knives at the moment because they have bad hit registration issues. But if you are taking them I'd use knives + sniper or knives + blunderbuss

Scattershot should never increase for every extra hit. It should put small holes and that is it. Shouldnt go up, sad.
I think because of max 40% per hole and the fact it's so inaccurate makes it balanced. It's only good at very close range where you can guarantee 4 hits
So should cannonballs stay at 60 and not ho up to 100% damage its the same logic
