In the GB you will, of course, find a variety of TRAIN content, special trains, maintenance, steam, diesels, interesting rail cars, cool paint schemes and more. You will also find fun people, city events, boats, planes, cars (sometimes going wild) and nature. Thank you for taking the time to sit back and enjoy these highlight reels that we call "Grab Bags"!

    MOW parades always take me back to Close Encouters of the Third Kind when all those ships came into the scene, pretty far out...the rollout of CSX 1875 led by another heritage is sick! Who'dve thunk fusion jazz would pair so well with tie replacement...I digress. Happy Days VRF.

    Why is that jump in the Frog at Chehalis

    • @abpsd73
      @abpsd73 Před měsícem +1

      It's called a lift frog, the siding traffic wheel flanges go up and over the main rail, that way the main line doesn't have a gap in the main rail like a conventional frog would have. Eliminating the main rail gap allows higher speeds, no "clack clack" noise, and less maintenance versus a gapped rail that would be pounded into oblivion with high traffic.
