The government needs to support the people more
Jamaica needs good road structure the roads can't simply be washed away every time it rains
The government should have a better priority to make all roads safe for the public
More lives will be lost if the government does not make road safety and maintenance a priority

I am very sorry gor all the persons who had suffered badly as as resulf of the floods and i pray assistance will come sooner than expected and that the authorities will figuer out better ways to to build road ways , calverts while building the riad ways properly to sustain conditions like these.

It is good to see the community working together; what is the government doing for St.Thomas drainage and landslipe problems? Lives are being lost due to poor planning and sadly it seems like disregard for a community which is always being hit hard in all areas. It would have been respectful if the picture of the deceased was edited out or covered up in showing respect to his family and viewers. I pray God's grace, protection and strength for St. Thomas.
This is very important to people living abroad because we don't see these sad stuff you're doing a great job continue don't let no one discourage you this is our sweet jam dun the politicians campaign and promise to fixed road I'm glad you're showing them up 👍

The materials they're using to build the roads are sudstandard.... This must be addressed as a matter of urgency as there will be more rains to come.

A lot of the problem with flooding is due to unregulated coffee farming in the Blue Mountains. I said this like 20 yrs are more and it has only gotten worse. There use to be acres of bomboos eucalyptus and pine trees that have cleared and roads that were cut without and serious plan for drainage.

@@janairedelisser1354 Sorry I did not see your reply sooner. The government are responsible when they do not respond in time or address the problems. The proper drainage systems were not installed, so that the water would run off the roads. Instead the water have flooded the roads causing landslides and other widespread damages. Poor construction work was done.
It's time for everybody to come together and pray for the whole entire world turn from our wicked ways not even have respect for the Dead oh Lord Jesus help us oh God I pray that woman finds her daughter Jesus have Mercy on us all this is not a time to joke around God is going to do some things in this world he still calling everyone to repent give your selves to jesus Christ while there is still time to do so.....🙏😔

So the farmer don't secure the animals when the rain is coming... feel bad for the goat on the river bank
