She recently invited us to her gorgeous home in Kingston, Jamaica where we got to know so much about the beauty queen. From her love affair with music icon, Bob Marley, to her days as Miss World and everything else you can think of, Cindy truly let her hair down and we loved every minute of it!

She spoke so eloquently with class and didn't say A bad word about anybody, a rare and beautiful quality in these times.
Why would she say a bad word about anybody? She was the one fcuking a married man! Side chicks use to go quietly into the good night. Her only relevance is that she fcuked a famous musician.
For a man who wasn’t loyal to any woman, those same women sure do still love and respect him. That’s rare cause no one likes to be cheated on.

His wife did an interview in 1991 where she was asked about his premarital affairs and she essentially said that she was aware and accepting because that’s what made him happy. There was a mention of poly but they didn’t elaborate. Wild times…..

I have never seen or listened to an interview with Cindy Breakspeare (Miss World 1976) This is awesome, intelligent and genuine.

As bobs manager said Cindy was the only women Bob really loved because she was the only one he ever had to chase. Waiting in vain, lights down low, is this love, pieces of my heart are all about Cindy and his love for her. Waiting on vain was when he was trying to date her. He was not with rita. Loved this interview. I'm glad Rita and her got along. They realized what kind of man they were dealing with. His talents and energy could not be caged. I don't agree with his stepping out on his wife so many times and having all those illegitimate kids, but that's none of my business and no one asked me. I appreciate Bob Marley as a musical artist. Thanks for the video. Cindy was funny and very personable.
Words are powerful: be careful what you say. You could be in Mrs. Marley's same shoes one day, hurting, over your husband's unfaithfulness. And the mistress acting like the wife with no respect for you, just like the former Miss World had no respect for Rita Marley. I think Cindy is onto something when she says Jamaica has a sort of magic about it. As an Englishman I 100% agree with her. It's the accent, the patois, the beautiful scenery and of course reggae music. Really enjoyed listening to this, nice lady.

As a born American girl, not Jamaican, I grew up around Jamaican culture. Now married to a Jamaican and have been able to live back and forth for 4 years now, this of many interviews that I have come across regarding Jamaica Culture, this is a really good interview! I am not surprised that the late and great Bob Marley’s streams have gone up. The first thing I did when covid hit was put on “Natural Mystic”. “Patience” is one of my favourite songs too! Damian is the perfect combination of his beautiful mama’s serenity and his phenomenal papa’s spirituality.

The Nas and Damian Marley album is one of my favorite albums of all time, I totally agree with her. It's a beautiful master piece.
Cindy is beautiful and strong, for all those being negative about her skin colour are obviously not familiar with Jamaica because there are many mixed Jamaicans. She is Jamaican and we love her. As for Bob , he was a free man and he loved women if you want to get mad at my Cindy then you have a long list of other ladies to get through too.

This interview was an eye opener for me. I respect Cindy and because of her and Bob Marley we have Damien. There’s so much I didn’t know about Cindy and Bob Marley’s relationship. Cindy and Rita were both there for Bob when he needed them most. I’m glad they were able to work as a team. He changed the world with his POSITIVE VIBRATIONS which brought joy to the world.

Bob was a superstar when she won Miss World and she quickly announced that he was her boyfriend to the international press. No other pageant winner had ever done this kind of name-dropping as part of a victory speech.
I think this lady is extremely beautiful and intelligent! I always love to hear stories of The Great Robert nesta Marley. I am a huge fan of His great words. I also love how she show off her house which is very beautiful and well decorated. Great interview. "Real ting!"

She's not a side chick. Bob and Rita's relationship was a sister and brother relationship.Thats from Rita's mouth. She and Cindy took care of Bob when he was in the hospital. They worked on shifts. Don't apply today's idea of Mistress to her. She was not hidden from society. Rita had no issues with Bob seeing other women. She did the same.

This comment section is something else lol! Cindy and Rita are good. It was the past. I think Bob enlightened and captured Cindy’s soul like he did everyone. Also people forget Bob was extremely attractive. She probably needed that at that time in her life (the enlightenment). She was boarding at the house, knew who he was yet his aura caught her. Also Bob & Rita were polygamist (minus actual legal marriage to others). I’m not here to convert or change anyone’s perception, yet it was not frowned upon. All parties knew what it was. Society makes everything about s** and tbh I don’t think this was the case. It’s deeper it’s about being of flesh and having a desire and fulfilling. Again their lifestyle & beliefs. Bob accepted Sharon and Stephanie openly and Ital was still alive and around. It’s cultural & spiritual beliefs. Again not my thing, yet I don’t judge and respect others beliefs.
In regards to her last two husbands being “tired” of her speaking about Bob, he was a huge part of her life and her child’s father. Something they know and knew and accepted. When mentioning Bob Marley his wife Rita, Cindy, the others, children will always immediately be relevant. People need to mind dem selves and stop being so judgmental. We are all human and imperfect. Not here to debate or start no discussion either. It is what it is and was what it was. Damian is here and so is Cindy! And Damian is a mega star with major talent (like all Bob’s seeds) Period.

Bway this was more like a thousand questions not 876. Cindy !!! da bredda yah literally startt asking questions when you opened the door to let him in, until you opened it again to let him out. Still it was very engaging and full of laughs and plenty prior to unknown facts. I really enjoyed it and watched from start to finish.
Excellent interview. Cindy should write a book, shes a Jamaican Icon in herself, and represents Jamaica so very well, everywhere she goes..to this day.

I don’t understand why she has so many fans. 1) she messed around with Bob Marley while he was married and continues to do interviews and lectures about him without any regard to his wife’s feelings 2) she represented Jamaica during the heat of apartheid and she’s white. For a white woman to consistently win beauty pageants in Jamaica and ultimately win Ms Jamaica saids a lot about the self-esteem and level of self hate of the black people on that island

@venessao.7285 Apparently, Bob and Rita stayed married but moved on in their relationship. It is said that she had a child for another man while married, other than the one she had when he married her. I don't know, but Cindy and Bob relationship started years after Rita and Bob were basically business partners, though they remained married, which was smart because Bob died young, so it protected Rita and her children financially concerning control of Bob's estate. In all fairness, Cindy may look messy, but she went through a lot because of her relationship with Bob, so if she chooses to speak on it, why are people dragging her for sharing. If one doesn't want to know about it, it's okay, but there's no need to take sides because there's more to the story than we know or they will ever tell.

Great interview but I didn’t like how she dismissed the plight and suffering of dark skin women when discussing Miss World as, “whatever”. The colourism and exclusion that black women suffer from these major institutions and platforms - to this day - is not a “whatever” issue. Must be nice to be a white woman and be privileged to have any opportunity you want regardless, but in the beauty industry, black/dark women aren’t afforded these luxuries. It would have been nice for her to show some empathy towards her fellow women and maybe recognise that it’s still happening.

I thought the SAME thing, literally. Although I absolutely LOVED this interview, I was disappointed with that response. It’s so easy to dismiss “the politics” of a system that you are a beneficiary of. That was very telling. Anyway, I can’t blame her though...that’s what we allow! I still love her, & I definitely see why Bob did too. She is absolutely brilliant!
