Very interesting. I have tried to decorate pots before although not this method. Will give it a go. What I want to know is if you have planted the pot out with flowers and if the picture lasted. I have found they only last about a year. It discolour or snails eat it. Wondering if I am not sealing it properly thanks

As they are so decorative, I put the plant into the pots already planted in a smaller plastic pot. I want the decorative pot to last a long time so don't want too much soil, water or fertilizer causing any issues. I have not had any problems so far. Also anything sitting in direct sunlight will fade over time, curtains, fabric, paintings etc, so where you place it will affect its long term use. I have had acrylic painted pots that are varnished and had the plants directly planted inside last well in the garden for years, but I do not trust napkins to stand up to the same treatment.

Do you let the napkins dry before the modpoge? Or just get over it?

I let it dry most times before adding the watered down Mod Podge. A couple of times it has been partially dry. I would not do it straight away as if the napkins are too wet they might tear.
