These people are crazy for doing what they do. They are literally pushing their body to the very limit. It’s like taking a sports car and putting it on a dyno and pushing it right to the last notch before redline and keeping it gunned for days and days. Weeks at a time. Pouring octane booster and race fuel into it. Then when the engine starts to blow they say oh it’s because the head was defective or it must be the oil filter was bad. Has nothing to do with the octane booster or the throttle being floored none stop.
Just once I'd like to see Dave talk about how the drugs could have caused or contributed to these occurances. It really drops his credibility when he immediately blames stress or genetics. It's going to hit a point where we have no other choice to blame the drugs when people start dropping like flies.
On a side note, it amazes me that a professional bodybuilder would be so unconcerned about those symptoms. If you take the drugs they take, train the way they train and eat the way they eat, you'd better be having regular bloodwork and doctor checkups. Anything other than heavy precautions is absurd.

I’m no doctor, but I don’t think it would be an unwise decision, from a health perspective, for Shawn to skip this year’s ‘O’ all together. I was shocked after watching this video because what Shawn experienced happened to me about 4 years ago. I’m a bodybuilder but not competitive. At that time I was at my best shape at 235lbs. The only difference hat I felt was I progressively got tired quickly during workouts until I had major shortness of breath throughout the day. His happened on a span of a year. Like how the doctors treated Shawn, I also had to go thru blood transfusion and iron. That’s 3 pints of blood and 2 pints of iron. After 4 days in the hospital my blood levels was from a 4 to an 8. Same blood levels as what Shawn experienced. That’s why I was so weirded out watching this video because

I recently started taking it after over 2 months of daily debilitating neck pain. I had 2 discs removed in the 90's but haven't had a flare up for over 15 yrs. I started taking it on 3/9 and 24 hrs. later I am pain free. Even though it has only been 3 days but I know I am on the road to recovery. I put it right wear the pain is in my neck. A good source is very important. I recommend Enhanced Athlete.

Man, whatever these bodybuilders are doing or taking, it needs to stop. We've been seeing way too many bodybuilders or people withing the community are getting sick or worse.
Moral here people is to always get regular check ups and listen to your body. Do not ignore any signs from your body telling you something is wrong. A few months ago I felt a tingling sensation all over my body and suddenly became extremely weak. My nervous system had shit itself. I was pushing my body too hard. It's not worth it. take care of yourselves.
This is just so full of 💩💩💩 he says he didn’t know his hemoglobin was that low !He’s either trying to cover up the mess , or it was a sudden gi bleed , bodybuilders get blood work at all times ,let’s not forget he was out for a while for liver problems in the past , i just don’t get why just not come clean and tell everyone, yes man we got to really be on top of your health when you’re getting ready for a show , it’s just not worth it , pushing the body to its limits has its consequences! Poor guy. Months of strict dieting and working his ass off..putting the rest of his life on hold... Only to have something messed up like this happen only days before one of the biggest opportunities of his life. I was most looking forward to seeing him and Wolf. Now that Rhoden is out, I am totally pulling for Wolf to win. Wolf at his best is my favorite current IFBB guy.
