- Polaris brings active suspension technology side-by-sides.
Building a wider car would benefit a small segment of drivers. What Polaris has done with the new Dynamic Edition, RZR XP Turbo, is introduce active suspension technology to side-by-sides, allowing the car to adjust suspension settings on the fly to help maximize handling and suspension performance as needed for different situations. More than simply one new model, Polaris could add their Dynamix suspension technology to just about any model going forward; providing a step forward in handling and suspension performance nearly as significant as turbocharging was for the engine.
Polaris continues to build on the very successful RZR XP 1000 platform with the new RZR XP Turbo Dynamix edition. Over the past five years, the car has been turbocharged; had its power significantly boosted; its suspension has improved; it received the groundbreaking Ride Command System last year; and, finally, it has the first intelligent active suspension system in the industry with Dynamix Suspension. Trickle down technology has yielded a power steering equipped, turbo charged RZR XP Turbo for under $20,000, leaving the $26,000 XP Turbo Dynamix Edition to satisfy the fastest drivers with the deepest pockets, and the desire to have the latest technology money can buy in a side-by-side.
The new rzr isn't what I was expecting, I was hoping for like a 180hp desert running beast.
We were expecting the exact same thing. We aren't disappointed though. ATVs have the rider as an intelligent counterbalance mechanism caged, ride-in vehicles don't. Polaris could adapt this technology to thy RZR or ACE model going forward, whether its a 72" desert car or a 50" trail car. Frankly, the narrower machines may benefit from this technology the most especially when it becomes more affordable.
yah true. So am I on the team I asked you guys about a month ago on atvondemand if I could join, and you guys never go back :(
B Breckner if you live nearby we'd absolutely have you out to ride with us. Some of the people we shoot with like Alan knows we know from the industry. Other test Riders are Racers that we know locally the rest are friends and acquaintances that are into riding. Stinks you're not near Southern Ohio or we'd have you out.
Ok cool, yah lol I'm in Minnesota so little far but thanks for considering iit! Keep you your guys videos there awesome!!!
B Breckner n
I have a 2016 and yeah it's expensive but other than that it's worth it it's a great machine unbelievable power no issues and I can out run my buddy's can am easily
One other thing I just wish I could do wheelies power is their but ass end won't bite in
Mark Hill An X3???
Great video
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it.
Can Am X3 is the leader! Figure that!!!!
RZR needs a complete redesign to compete with the X3s. Anyone who thinks otherwise are not being honest with themselves. Everybody has a Rzr but wants an X3. I'm sure polaris will eventually come out with somthing more imppresive than a slap on electronic shock system.
agreed...im a rzr guy just for the cost basis..but can am has the ultimate side by side hands down
Why are they talking about cars? It's really confusing on a video about a UTV
Oh man this suspension is similar to the Mercedes Benz and if you look at the price for one shock absorber ($1100) I could only imagine how much those shocks go for on that rzr
if someone could create axles that won't break, I know its possible but not affordable..
so when ya take a nose dive or you land wrong and you rear end land on the back side of a whoop so it don't tear it up....
Awesome video!, please tell me you know how many seconds 0-60?, how much??
Would be nice to see how this compares to a stage4 Fox Setup. www.ridefox.com/upgrades.php?m=utv
It's amazing to me to have such fancy computer controllable shocks, but still have the same cheap factory springs all the other new RZRs have. The springs are still coil bound with the "tender" spring so there is no true dual spring working. Look at the RZR parked...top spring is coil bound!!!!
IMHO, for the money the true dual spring setup, with a stage4 Fox setup is a better place to put the money than the Dynamix option. Polaris should offer that option stock.
Kanati Mongrels are 10 ply now...
Colby Judd yes it is. They updated it after this commercial was made. Looks like this commercial needs an update. The Templars are what we used on our last RZR turbo project.
Nice shocks and all but then its still got the absolute garbage secondary springs that's are already collapsed from what I see. I'm sure the primary springs are cheap junk too like all the others.
Nice
more electronic blingbling to fail :-/
Perhaps but if you're nervous about the longevity of the additional Electronics with the addition of this car you can now get the base model turbo for under 20 grand. We think that's pretty sweet
Yeah $20,000 grand real good deal!! NOT!!! If you truly want a utv buy this at $10,500 put a couple upgrades and have a way more capable machine and half the price!!

Couple stats on the machine: 1100cc DOHC 4-cylinder, 5-speed manual, full lockers, Full tube chassis. Just needs better shocks over the factory ones, really its only down fall. Put fox or kings and your set, thats $2000 at the most then you'll only be at $12,500!!!
Edit: they also sell a turbo kit everything including new ECU for $1800

Volkz VLOGS wow, if these are that good then we shouldn't have a problem getting a unit for a review. I'm curious about how much wheel travel they have and how they'll handle in the rough stuff compared to a major brand side-by-side.
How reliable are those RZRs?
human Check it out online. Don’t look up the machine look up problem with Polaris. If you do you won’t buy a Polaris. Almost 400 million dollars in recalls in the last year. Thousands of lawsuits. Stock nosedived.
Hi I'm thinking to buy an Polaris rzr 1000 turbo 4 seater is it good for deep desert
Ibra gaming 458 absolutely. We have heard of a number of desert Racers building 4 seat cars due to their extra wheelbase which helps handling at high speeds.
The 2017 Mint 400 UTV class was won by a RZR Turbo 4... The longer wheelbase of the XP4 is superior in the desert
You should go with Can Am x3 xrs
I have a Dynamix XP4. They are fun but the control arms are surprisingly weak. I took a light hit from a Can-AM Maverick on trail and it ripped the suspension right off the frame. Check out my page for a video of the rebuild.
Unfortunately that's just an off-road toy. And with 20-25 k a quite expensive sort toy. How is it possible to get such a beast street legal? THAT would be interesting to tell.
For 27000 it's not worth it
POLARIS FUN 001 Agreed
The most I say is $15000 to $18000
Naltwaun Darby that wouldn't get you this machine but it would get you a Polaris XP 1000 without turbo or the Dynamix suspension system. Still a nice car though.
Does it have a left and right brake/ as most tractors do I can invision were all atvs need that kind of brake system.to help steer it. the handle bar kinds also, imagine that if not any have that braking on it.
It's Nevada, not Nevahda, get it right!
Yeah yeah, what you want from a guy from Ohio. Thanks Awesome Cooper, keep it awesome
UTVonDemand haha sorry to hassle ya! I enjoy your videos keep up the good work! czcams.com/video/fmUf9FDUOTk/video.html
AwesomeCopper we had absolutely no idea it was such a thing. I'm quite confident we will be back in the state of Nevada and will be pronouncing it correctly. Loved the video post.
UTVonDemand sounds good! Can't wait to watch more of your videos! And I was just giving you a hard time about the pronunciation ;) no hard feelings
AwesomeCopper it’s Spanish so it sounds like Nevahda
Great video and love those Aussies! Sadly the RZR looks 10 years old and still proudly made in China and Mexico. Turbo power but it still gets pumped into a belt! No manual transmission yet? I love your video because it's well done and makes me so glad I got a YXZ!
Should not cost more than 12K.
Still would buy a maverick x3 over this.
For what reason? Just curious about your opinion.
UTVonDemand class leading hp, sleek design, better rollcage, 2 key option for expert and novice drivers, reliable rotax motor, better factory options for exactly what youre gonna use the vehicle for and parts that are way more durable and hold up over constant abuse.
And 22 inches of travel in the fromt and 24 in the rear for a can am which means a way smoother ride. And the dynamix will never fail on you or what?
@@justyguud we have beat on some Dynamic cars for a while. I wouldn't say that the Dynamix suspension system has ever failed on us however at this point we think we would just prefer set up standard shocks and be done. Obviously, you weren't talking about the base model X3 right?
for the price polaris shouldn't have cheap ass springs !! has great shocks but sucks springs come on polaris!!! Can am has the cockpit an ride!!
it is funny they put those expensive ass shocks on with a fake dual rate spring setup. You can see the soft spring completely coil-bound in the video. I have the Fox stage4 upgrade on my RZR, makes a world of difference to have a true dual rate spring setup.
www.ridefox.com/upgrades.php?m=utv
They should have an option to just buy one with the full fox stage4 setup.
Man these things are getting expensive...like even expensive for someone who is willing to spend the money on off road toys lol!!
And for 27000 at 3:09 the passengers looked like they were having a bumpy ride
Jesus Christ canam at a have more cc than that
All these toys are over priced, that's the only problem.
To me.....over priced for a plastic toy......
Not bad but not a Can Am either. X3 is the better side x side.
Random Vids @ Uh yeah, right! There is a very good reason why Polaris outsells Can Am by thousands of units each year. Can Am reminds me of Chevy trying to keep u
both are solid UTVs. The X3 finally brought CanAm into "competitive" range with Polaris. X3 and RZR are equal now.
Kevin Ray. It's a price point thing. That's all. Everyone I talk to wants the X3. Can am is a better built machine. Period. I own both a 2018 so turbo and a 2018 x3 max 4 seater and the x3 beats the rzr 2 seater.
Audio sucks! You're better off turning off the sound and reading lips!
Same top heavy ugly old rzr
Same old pooplaris junk
run laps around that old man. smh
You would most likely ruin yourself or your machine trying to keep up with that "old man."
