  • 2024 Polaris RZR XP 1000 Test Review. For its 10th year, the RZR XP 1000 received its most significant round of mechanical and styling updates for 2024. Over the past decade, trails have widened nationwide. Originally designed as a whoop pounding West Coaster, for 2024, Polaris substantially updated the RZR XP with a focus on multi-terrain use. Performance is enhanced with serious effort spent improving build quality and attention to detail while modernizing its design.
    Already one of our top picks for enthusiasts looking for all around performance and capability in the $20,000 to $25,000 price range, we’d feel even more confident buying or recommending the RZR XP 1000 with all of its improvements in strength and attention to detail.
    Performance wise, we’d consider it a threat to win a naturally aspirated, 1000cc Sport SXS Shootout even if we included the manual shift cars and those over 64” in width. The RZR XP 1000 has always done everything well, and it seemingly does everything a little better for 2024. Don’t fret if those $45.000 models are out of your price range. The 2024 RZR XP 1000 will most likely deliver all the performance you need with modern styling and appointments starting under $21,000. Everything about the 2024 Polaris RZR XP 1000 makes it a sport SXS we’d be stoked to own.

    THANKS to all our SUBSCRIBERS for helping make this video possible. Polaris made one of our favorite all=time sport SXSs tougher and better performing for 2024. We LOVE nearly all of the RZR XP 1000's updates. We're looking forward to your comments and questions.

      Glad you have enjoyed the Sport/Utility shootout so much! We have more shootouts in the works for 2024. The Xpedition is on our list but we don't have a time frame on it as of yet.

    Do you think the rubber mount front diff will help to reduce the stress on the front diff because it was a huge problem on my xp turbo, i had to rebuilt the front diff every winter... And yes i was very hard on it!

    • @UTVonDemand
      @UTVonDemand  Před 4 měsíci +2

      Probably but only time will tell. Being a lower horse power machine than your Turb,. It shouldn't go through front differentials quite as bad. We have put a few thousand miles on older models on the west coast without blowing either differential.

    It’s a nice update but I should also mention I’m not a rzr fan or owner. I don’t like not coming with beadlocks or high clearance arms factory and I don’t understand why you wouldn’t just offer 2,4,4 locked instead of the awd system. Of course maybe it has that and I just misunderstood

    • @UTVonDemand
      @UTVonDemand  Před 7 měsíci +2

      We can overlook the lack of beadlock wheels and high clearance arms since this is more of a price point focused machine. At least the base model is. Those would have been nice editions at this price point. You are correct, it is two wheel drive or all wheel drive. No differential lock switch.

    • @marka1712
      @marka1712 Před 7 měsíci

      @@UTVonDemand I agree but the cost of them making the sturdier arms with a slight bend would have been almost nothing compared to the positive it would be. But it’s not a deal breaker at all. The awd vs locker is the deal breaker for me, the rest is pretty easily upgraded

    What is the differents between AWD on polaris and the four wheel lock on KRX?

    • @UTVonDemand
      @UTVonDemand  Před 8 měsíci +3

      On Polaris, the all-wheel drive operates in 2 wheel drive until the rear wheels start losing traction. After that, the front wheels start engaging with a little bit of limited slip action. The kawasaki has two wheel drive, limited slip four wheel drive or full front differential lock. The kawasaki's limited slip four wheel drive setting is essentially three wheel drive. Once you lock the front differential it is full time power to all four wheels. Some drivers prefer full locked in four wheel drive in technical situations. Others prefer the simplicity of polaris all wheel drive. Please feel free to follow up if you have any further questions.

      I can't speak to the KRX but I can speak to can am, yamaha and Polaris. The Polaris, when switched into 4x4 does a tremendous job of turning all wheels, even if stuck and off camber. I routinely see stuck yamahas and can ams with one front wheel not spinning unless the throttle is completely taped. When crawling out of thick mud or over logs both the yamaha and can am need to bump the logs or they spin in front with no power going to the 4th wheel. The Polaris never does this.

      @huemongus3742 Před 6 měsíci +1

      Can-am more reliable? Maybe in the past, not against anything in the 2024 lineup. Can-am makes the weekest frames, especially the front ends. There are so many videos of can-ams breaking where Polaris doesn't.

There Alot of atv's as but mostly sxs. This we stuck the cfmoto uforce 1000xl or the blue bus that what I call it.have good day.
