I've seen a couple channels play this now, and it's hilarious to me how the game is considered bad, but the people playing it end up having a blast anyway.

@@dougtheghoul2845 its all about the company, honestly! Max and Currie love making fun of games, so a mid party game works REALLY well despite that its just mid. If you played this for 3 hours alone tho, all the fun goes away pretty quick. (at least for me it would, party games just don't feel the same alone, even if they do have AI)
As a wise man once said even dying of cancer can be fun with friends, so being fun with friends doesn't make a game good

If you're looking for party games to play, I'd highly recommend SpongeBob lights, camera pants One of the best license party games you can play

I remember reading Garfield Minus Garfield comic strips. It's a normal comic strip about Garfield, except that Garfield is erased.
So whenever there is an interaction between Jon and Garfield (invisible Garfield, mind you) -- it looks as if Jon is having a nervous breakdown/schizo episode.

Was popping in to say the same. Even when I was a 13-year-old die hard sonic fan, I played sonic shuffle and knew deep in my heart that it was bad
@strangegaming1418 I'm actually in the minority of people who not only genuinely liked Sonic Shuffle, but want it to have a sequel with the same gameplay, but new playable characters and boards, improved AI, and elements more in line with the Sonic franchise. Shuffle is one of the party games I want to see Mind Pulp play in a future video. Others include Beauty and the Beast: A Board Game Adventure for Game Boy Color and Tweety & the Magic Gems for Game Boy Advance.

Oh, I love you guys so much, a 58 minute episode is fantastic. You have to play the M&Ms beach party game on the Wii. It's not Mario party like, but it is a game with a few mini games. Haven't played it myself but the Game Grumps did and it was definitely an experience. Thank you guys for making my days better and Keep it up!

I much prefer the hour long format. This is probably my new favorite Mind Pulp video. Looking forward to the other party games! I recommend you check out Shrek's Crazy Carnival for PS2, was the only party game I had growing up.

Yall mentioned the Shrek party game. I remember playing it alot as a kid. I'm sure it's totally ass realistically. Another party game which I really found fun as a kid that may not be that good now was 'fusion frenzy' and another called 'whacked'. Whacked actually has a story to it if you can call it that.
Let's goooo!! For the longest video in the channel - I really enjoyed the playthrough of the Discount Mario Party Experience - weird but decent minigames, pain in the ass AI, and the typical course of random chance throughout. I just find it weird why they had to slap Garfield unto it just to say it's "Garfield". I was calling BS in some of the games (the jank controls in some, the 3rd person ones, and others out of pure luck), and cheering the epic wins (3rd person shooting, the toast game, the rug cleaning, etc.)
You lads should definitely take on other "discount" party games, maybe one from Shrek, the older OG's like Crash Bash, or other more obscure ones! Perhaps get a full player of 4 to make it more annoyingly interesting and lively, but hey, the commentary, the relatable irritability, and the utter hatred all things Nermal and Arlene are amazing to get through the entire hour 😂

I just learned of a game from another video about one on the Wii called "Oops Prank Party" which is almost a rip-off of Wii Party, yet terrible in every way. There's lots of good party games but I think this Garfield one even puts THAT game to shame so might be worth doing for another Mind Pulp "trash game" video😂
