Putin is a corrupted dictator who is ruining my country (with his corrupted friends - modern feudal lords of Russia). I want him to go to life sentence jail for his crimes. He destroyed democratic prospects of Russia - Constitution, rights, elections (his 76% in 2018 were fake), free mass media (95% of them are state-controlled), free market economy (70% of Russian economy is state-controlled ineffective feudal crony capitalism). He destroyed relations with the EU and the US (=no investing from rich countries) which darkened prospects for the development of Russia.
The more Putin is in power, the poorer and more unhappy Russia will be.

Stalin has 70% approval rating now by Levada survey - higher than that of Putin.
Rade Knezevic yeah I admit I wrote that little too harshly 😅 I’m reading some stuff from Timothy Snyder and it really made me think about the fragility of democracy. But still, I’m deeply concerned how Putin and olygarhs are spreading fake news and bending historical facts depending on their own intentions. Also in my country there are neonacionalists that glorify Russia and USSR, but don’t know about the war crimes, election frauds etc. They also spread fake news, racism, homophobia and fear about terrorism, so I think they are a threat to our democracy, because a lot of people seem to agree with the neonacionalists. So yeah, we need a better education. Second of all, I don’t think a 300 pages long book about politics (+30 pages of resources) could be considered propaganda, since not a lot of people are willing to read such long books and it has a lot of trustful resources. I’ve been in the “center” my whole life, but “The way to unfreedom” shifted my views to more libertarian. If you have any book to recommend me about the good side of soviet union or Putin’s politics, I’d be glad to educate myself in these topics

You don't want to be enemy to mafia, you have to select your words.
@Саша Чистяков
let me guess you'll support a guy like Yeltsin. ithe 90 period was so good, when we in the west was stealing your ressources and wealth for ourselves with the helpof people like Nalvany, etc.... Don't worry after him you'll have another Yeltsin, it will be Democracy, you'll enjoy the chaos,war and the explosion of RF. YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE UNTIL U LOST IT, BE CAREFUL OF WHAT YOU WISHE. BTW our governments in the west do not have your country best interest at heart.
I like the guy who realized that no might be a bad answer and changed his no to a yes.
"Войны нет и хорошо" говорили они(((
Ребят, приезжайте в Сыктывкар, посмотрите на наши дороги и потом ответьте на вопрос заново. Всем спасибо.
Это же сарказм

Приезжай к нам в Уфу, у нас дороги хорошие. А если ваше местное правительство с дорогами не справляется, значит не тех выбираете. Президент страны не должен решать проблемы дорог в Сыктывкарe.
@Pacifist a Deo мда
Some of them were sarcastic but most weren't. I think it paints the realistic picture of what an average Russian thinks of Putin - he had his purpose, he definitely did good for Russia especially during 2000's, he was the perfect man for the task at that time - but he also definitely outstayed his welcome, and would be good if he would step down and allow for a peaceful transition of power and ''fresh blood'' to take over.
Delusional western propaganda

Does this guy only interviews beautiful people or everyone is beautiful in Russia?( Except Putin)
Wtf! Putin is beautiful as hell
Only good looking people.

I love sarcasm, because the more sarcasm you understand, the smarter you are.
am I big brained for getting your sarcasm or are you actually acting as a 14yr old who just found out about sarcasm?
People always look for change I say "careful what you wish for".
It seems like some people are afraid.

Данил Вискунов Thank you all for your insight, that is just how it seems to me an иностранец. But they may not be afraid of Putin himself, sometimes here in America when you make a statement and somebody asks “why?” It usually means they are challenging you and sometimes an argument happens so I think they may have been trying to avoid a confrontation. Конечно, я не знаю как в России я ещё не путешествовал.
They are just shy of the camera, regardless of the correspondent's question.
“...if we pick new leader right now, nothing bad would happen. He wouldn’t be able to destroy the country in 4 years”
Really? Maybe he should learn history more i guess. A bad leader can destroy anything just in five years in power.
Gorbachev destroyed the USSR in 5 years, the people obvioisly know about it.
It's more like "nothing could be worse", because the Russians have experienced the worst regimes that could possibly exist
