    It looks great. Well done on fixing the "mistakes" aka Lessons Learnt.

    Nice build. I have to get a 3D printer. There is so much out there that’s free, you just have to print it! Love the colours. Happy days and model on! 😎

    Hi, This is very cool. I actually made the original 3D Studio 3D model in 1997 (there are a number of identifying features) and has since been adapted to 3d print models etc by a lot of people. Nice to see it printed!

      You designed the 3D model used in the movies? That's awesome! I imagine that was quite a task back then.

      @@EagleSciFiModeler Hi.. no the movie model was practical effects. I made the 3d model for my website at the time which has been used a lot and converted to the one you used. I have the Nostromo 3d model on my CZcams channel if you're curious.

      I knew the original movie was a practical model, I think a brief shot of Sulaco type ship was in the the third movie.
      I'll check it out!

    It definitely looks better post-mistake. IIRC, the filming model didn't have any sort of aztecking. If I had a 3D printer, I'd certainly want to get this one!

    Battle damaged and used, really nice model mate 😉👌

    You certainly had some setbacks, buddy, but you battled on and got there in the end. To be honest , I couldn't see where the decals were, but the final look was very nice all the same.

      I actually only used the name plate decal. Things don't always go the way you think...lol

    Can you leave a link as to where you got the 3d plans? I'd actually like to build this.

    I like it. I have a question about the 3-D printer,what size is it and where can I buy one? My goal is to make a large Sulaco that's four feet long and can hold all of my aliens figure collection

    What would be the best resin for a model like this?

    any suggestion on how to orient pieces on the slicing software ??

    • @EagleSciFiModeler
      @EagleSciFiModeler  Před rokem

      I think the way this file was split up, each piece sat flat on the build plate and didn't need many if any supports.
