We had an ‘07 Escalade and I used to remote start it just to hear the cold start from outside. The 2017 we replaced it with idles too quietly. Love the channel.
07 Escalade are the best sounding ones in bone stock with no mods in my opinion. Any year after that, GM started putting flex fuel and AFM in the motor, taking away that natural deep sound of the 6.2 V8.
My wifes '12 Denali XL sounds better than my '07 Escalade...imo. Thanks for the video, I'm about to make this swap this week and now im even more excited 😂
It drives good. The drop in torque on the low end isn’t too noticeable on the 6.2 but I do notice it. My wife doesn’t, and it’s her truck so we’re good to go. It has actually improved the mpg she’s averaging since the swap so that’s a small perk. I was loving running it up to 7k but only did that a few times. Dropped the rev limit/shift points down to 6500 to keep everything alive as it’s still on stock springs. So all that to say, I think it was a worthwhile swap.

Flex fuel pump/injectors and AFM have zero effect on exhaust valve events during normal operation. Placebo effect.

Did you have to change the valve springs?Did you Dino tune HP tuners?
Nice. How you like the LS9 cam?
