- In this video I talk about the halfway mark in this block of training for a half marathon. We are 2.5 years into running and trying top run a sub 1:30 (now maybe 1:25) half marathon.
Training is going well but we are starting to run into some over use issues.
Time will tell how we fair over these next 6 weeks.
Cheers - Marcus

With your progress, 7 minutes in 7 months is definitely on the cards! Looking forward to seeing the journey.

I’m trying to knock 15mins off in 6months from 1:45 to 1:30. Currently on the Garmin coach plan but have bought the book after seeing you use it and going to start the pfitzinger plan next.
The book is really good. Let me know how it works for you. I have no complaints as of yet

I'm currently using one of Hal Higdon's programs right now, can I ask what made you switch?
I just wanted something more in depth. The book mentioned in this video really goes into detail about training, VO2, base building etc. I felt like the more I could learn the better I could train. So far I have seen great results (6 weeks in)
Which model of garmin are you using?
Forerunner 245 - it is pretty old
Have you considered triathlon?
Because of the amount of training needed... no, not yet. I think its something for the future though. that and an ultra
