The MG Metro was good but I would take that Mini Pickup and the Minivan all day long.
Yeah the mini's are a top choice among most on here, i would have the minivan myself, awesome little vans...

i know chap its a sad shame but there all being sold off or put into storage now buddy, so a happy ending...
Here is a story you might like. Twenty years ago I was in a gas station with my mgb gt. A man walks over and aske me if I would like to swap it for a rolls Royce. Of course I said shure. He really meant it and I followed him out into the countryside to his house. He was in the middle of a divorce and owned a company renting out classic cars for weddings etc. He didnât want his wife to get the white sixties rolls and wanted to swap. I told him I had to go home first. I did and spent a few hours talking to every law enforcement agency I could find. It wasnât stolen etc. So bright and early with title in hand I drove back. It was gone, he said he swapped it for a Ford Mustang.!!!! Talk about a bad day.
Irony of that story is don't take too long to make a decision! Story of my life dude... im always too late and always take to much time thinking instead of doing! I think if something seems too good to be real possibilities it's just that! I hope you had that luck come around again and you took full advantage of it dude?, Awesome seeing you here and thanks for the awesome story loved it!...
Great to see these cars were saved from the scrapers. For years there was a Mini van sitting unused. I asked the owner about it every now and then. She didn't want to sell. I hope it didn't end up towed off to scrap.
Thats the thing my friend most do end up in the scrap bin, people cant see the hurt they are doing, blind to their greed and suffer, Its a real shame, thanks for stopping by buddy...

I passed my driving test in my grans mini after 5 proper lessons first time and I have big love for mini's.im gutted to see these being neglected and the mini van and the pickup are super rare these days and worth very good money even in this condition.i see your dog's called Lola...I have a cat called Lola too! thanks for another great video.đđ

đđ So pumpkin spice! Well its kinda hard to explain unless you have one, It's for sure not for someone that does not like sweet things. As its oozing with sweetness, I'd say you deffo need to try one to get it!.... My favourite classic would have to be a 1969 Dodge Charger!! But Uk classic i'd say either an Austin healey or a E Type... And alas my lola, she is a very well trained companion, although she can be a tad naughty at times and has a very stubborn side, Shes very loyal and has heaps of personality.... She once went into her local shop which is 2 doors from my home and helped herself to the sausages..... So yeah shes a class act haha, Hope that answers your questions chap, and thanks for being interested.....

I share your love for Mini,s my granrfather had some Mini,s and Cliders and my father had 4 Mini,s his last one was from 1964 it was the first car i was driven around in as a child ,but i also love the big old Fords and Opels
Like the red mk2 at the start. The âAustin Cooperâ not so much đ as itâs actually a rover mini sprite. Would love to save all of them tho. A sad video :(

@@ImStokze Deffently rebadged but a lot of minis are. Loads of people try to make them look older than they are by putting Mk1 badges on. The red mk2 is a good find they are rare along with the pick up and van a lot of Moneyâs worth

The Mini 30 is mulberry in colour, the MG Metro is Arun White with Flint. Grey cloth, the Mark 1 is Cherry Red. The Mark 4 escort is Mercury Grey, and the interior is grey velour.

Yes, they were ' 89 on an ' F ' ( rarer ! ) or ' G ' plate.Only 5000 were made , I had a black one almost new in 1990.They cost ÂŁ5,500 on the road and even then knew they were going to be collectable.Came with a leather bound book called ' Mini - 30 years On '.Sold her in 1995 for ÂŁ2,250 with 13,500 miles, a great mistake - hindsight is a wonderful thing !

Used to have a mini 30th anniversary in late 90s will be 1989 lovely looking mini but underpowered ... Fun still as they all are, highly collectible now

I recognize one of the paths you walked along and somewhere in the wooded area is another Mini entwined in the foliage. The red Mini would be a dead easy repair.
Yeah i think most of the minis would be relatively easy to repair as there such a small car and very easy to work on.... Really good to hear from you....
I'm busy going through your back catalogue of videos atm ,I can't believe how many of those minis are actually savable and sitting rotting and even the mg probably only needs new floor pans .

Trouble is time goes so quickly,
Most stuff from the eighties and early nineties used to rot ,
Hence why they were parked up and left,
If ever you goes to buy any classic car,
Always Always makes sure the body is sound regardless of the engine,
An engine is easy to replace and far less time consuming then welding and body work leading up to the respray đ,
Keep up the good work in tracking these places,
You never know there might be a sale.

Those minis are really cool đ and probably worth restoring , even the MG Metro of which like you say worth something to someone who has the time and money to get it back on the road again.

That Metro needs to be restored,it is such a shame to see it like that. I knew someone who had one exactly like that and it was very fast and fun to drive. You could not pull up to a traffic light without a boy racer wanting to race you lol .Thanks for uploading,really interesting video.

The rear ended Metallic red Mini is probably a write off with a bent rear sub frame and Radius Arm mounts ,
The MG Metro Block I would use in the Pick up or Van , Much more collectable than a Metro ,

That first red Mini was a '67 MkI worth some money. And all the rest seem to be one from each era right up to a late Rover Mini. With a pickup and van as well!

@@nickb5391 You are right there. The real giveaway is the later grille shape (and it did have the long chrome strip on the bonnet) and the square rear lights although I can't actually see those.

That find of minis would be worth a kings ransom here in the USA. An original Mini Cooper like the one in the video would sell for over 20 thousand dollars. I found. 8 jag e types sitting in an abandoned car dealership On the second floor . All the buildings windows were broken, so the jags have half an inch of bird. Poop on them. When I found the owner he wouldnât sell one. His house was in terrible condition so I thought. I can get one here definetly. I asked him why he wouldnât sell one, his answer was, because they are mine and I can do what I like with them. I told him of the value of them. He didnât care, that was thirty years ago, they are probably still there.
Exactly dude this is what we're all faced with, most (not all) are scrooges that know what the have and know the value and don't give a toss if they rot into the ground, it saddens me to think some of these stunning classic cars die because of other people's greed and stubbornness, Gets me pissed... the orange transit should be white ,MOT run out 14th oct 2019, the merc is taxed till ocT22 and MOTed till june 22 the other transit has no tax or MOT

All sorts of reasons why these cars are left, often because of probate issues or with newer cars finance issues.

the 504 pick up is the only motor there that is worth restoring.

mg metro such a shame to see in that condition but its still a good parts car. i have one in same colour diamond white d reg 68k and could use some parts off that one haha that metro will probably get so rotten only the engine will be worth saving and will guranteed be rebuilt and put in an austin mini

I bought one of those mg metros years ago in auction for ÂŁ150 it was clean good runner but someone had a dog must have been kipping in it I couldn't geg the smell of dog out of it and chucked it back in auction
Yeah they were a very cheap car to buy once, i remember paying ÂŁ20 for a black mg turbo, way back in 2000, its mad to know that if i kept it she would be worth a considerable more now! Shame though to be fair, glad to see you here again....

Them minis are worth alot of money as is. That red one is a strange one it's a mid 80s one made to look like a early 60s one I think? with the door hinges on the outside and the sliding glass. It's madness just leaving them their. It should be illegal destroying Britain's heritage or somthing? Ha
