Tupac was larger than life. He galvanized millions of people. He catered to our inner child, our inner rebel and our inner artist. A philosopher and a champion. @@dmack143 Suge paid Orlando Anderson $60,000. Plus, Afeni had to sue for unpaid royalties. So knock it off. Marion is out for his own. He only cares about himself.
It's mind blowing the people who still doubt almost everything Suge says. Whenever Suge says something, the first thing people say is, "I don't believe him". Whether we like the idea of it or not, Suge was Pac's boss, so I'm sure he overruled Pac on a lot of things. Don't mean they weren't still cool. Also, Pac may have not been as close with Suge as he was with someone like Kadafi, but they were still friends.
That’s funny because everytime Pac was in the crowd, Suge was following behind PAC like a puppy dog. Check the MGM footage, that’s only one example outta 10 😂
And yea suge gave Pac gifts because he didn’t have to compensate him. Pac technically was still signed to inter scope. Death Row was a subsidiary of inter scope. They knew that when they brought Pac that contract. He was better off in prison and if Pac knew what was going on he wouldn’t never signed I don’t think. Not to mention his time in prison wasn’t his first time being asked to come to death row . Allegedly. Right around the time he filmed poetic justice Pac was asked to come to death row and Pac said no. IF that’s true, that tells me that pac signed cus he was desperate.
Tupac was an epitome of Hip Hop. He rapped about social issues. He came from a black nationalist background. Death Row aimed for excellence but too many costly incidents shorted it’s destination.
I agree with Danny boy a 1000 percent. Tupac wasn't alive long enough, to see suge knights Tru colors. Tupac wasn't thinking of living death row at alll
he did see it 😂😂 man yall really dont do any research. Pac fired all Death Row legal associates & was gettin into arguments with Suge bout his money. he just wasnt about to disown Death Row in public while they at war with Bad Boy/East Coast. the next chapter of Pac’s life was gonna be the most interestin. seein him cut ties with Suge & go into the 2000’s with his Euthansia entertainment company 💯
There’s no doubt in my mind, Pac had so much love in the West Coast way before he came to Death Row, Pac had real friends around him like Treach, Shock G, Richie Rich, The Outlawz and many more. Pac worse decision was signing to Death Row.
@@olle84 what are u talkin bout, he left New York at 13 and still had love for New York and would say that’s where he’s from and called himself MC New York but New York didn’t love him back so why should he still rep it
Suge was always following behind PAC. Wherever PAC went, Suge was right behind him. Just like in the MGM footage, PAC always lead the crowd and Suge was trying his best to keep up 👑
So Suge didn’t show his friendship to Danny Boy by taking him in, raising him like a son, putting him in a penthouse, putting money in his pockets, buying him cars, gifting him jewelry, hiring him a personal assistant & paying for around the clock security? With no album on him or track record for making hits? For over three years?!
@@mansagrinders710 that wasn’t his point. He said that being a friend is shown in your actions & not your words. I just laid out three years worth of actions that Suge displayed towards him when Suge didn’t have to. I like Danny Boy, but there was nothing special about him that made him a once in a lifetime talent that deserved the pampering he’d received. Yet, he goes on interviews & buries Suge by saying he doesn’t think he received enough or Suge should’ve continued to spoil him while he was in prison. That comes off as spoiled & entitled. Realistically, Suge could have snatched up any young singer from Compton & made him a star at that point in history.
See everyone keep screaming Suge dirty but nobody saying nothing about the expenses they was running up with no album out or waiting for the album sales. Everybody had houses everybody had clothes jewelry and etc but they haven't made no money 💰 sounds like niggas in the streets
@@theetruth8626 facts! Prior to All Eyez On Me, Danny Boy only did one song for Death Row which was “Come When I Call” from the Murder Was The Case soundtrack & he was living the life of luxury from 1994-1997. He was getting a weekly allowance from Suge on top of the gifts & other expenses Suge was handling for him. So how can he complain when he was living the life of a star with only one song to his name?

It's like kicking a man while he's down. It just ain't right and it seems like a coward move. But props to AOD for bringing some content to the table.
U don’t get it he did a lot of artists dirty by not paying them what they deserved that’s why & he bullied a lot of people in the music industry not the jokes on him & he broke spending 28 years in prison for being stupid
I read somewhere that had 2Pac lived or never been shot in Vegas that he was due his first royalty check of 4 million dollars in October. All Eyez On Me at that point had sold 5 million copies which generated approximately 80 million dollars so at that point 2Pac had fully recouped whatever expenses he was in the hole for from when Suge bailed him out. Suffice it to say he most likely wasn't leaving anytime soon once all that money hit his account at one time.
@@squireboi318 You're right. That's the one thing people don't mention. He damn sure violated when he threw that punch. I think he had to serve 4 years so he would've been gone until 99' at the earliest.
Yeah and all that was going to be spent on lawyers because he was going straight back to jail after beating Orlando and Suge would of probably went after him too.
@@theetruth8626 Tupac was planning his own record label called Amaru Records (his middle name). He also has plans for many community activist plans for communities across the nation. He wanted major artist to sponsor arts and ommunity centers for children in underprivileged neigborhoods. There are recorded tapes of these conversations. So.....
Pac was in fact leaving Deathrow after that 3 album deal; the double CD was considered two albums not one. In 1996, he formed his own production company called “Euthanasia” he was also going to change his stage name to “Makavelli” under the new label. The necklace that he wore in his last photo the night he died in the car with Suge was the new chain and emblem for his new company. That’s why he was recording so much music to fulfill his contract with Deathrow and at the same time introducing and rebranding himself as “Makavelli The Don”. He was NEVER leaving to sign with Quincy Jones.
Pac gave a hint on Tech and Sway show. He said he wanted to be an A&R at Death Row. He and Suge will be cool and do business with each other but he was explaining his own brand, record label etc. So Pac wanted to definitely do his own thing.
It wasn't anything anybody could have done differently. You have a time to be born and a time to die. 2 PAC time was just up. He touch the world with his music and left a everlasting effect on it. He did what he was suppose to do.
I know MANY niggas that could’ve done things differently, from not starting the altercation that ended their life, to not robbing the person that pulled their own gun and killed them. Lots of dudes WEREN’T killed for reasons beyond their control
Tupac would’ve left eventually maybe 98-99. Death row was his mentorship to becoming his own boss he knew the negative that came with the label but tried his best to find the positive. He wanted to learn how to run a label and become lucrative. No matter how spontaneous tupac was he knew what time it was and he tried to work it in his favor

At one point I don't think Suge was anyone friend. Money, power and ego
Suge Knight still had beefs with Tupac enemy till this day and that's is the proof he really love tupac more than money and all that B.S you said fanboy

I was 17 at that time and Pac had the Rap game in a chokehold and looked so happy with Suge doing it. Facts 💯. Rest In Power 🐐
On another note..Danny Boy does the best interviews..shout out to Art of Diologue👍🏽
Title about to have us in our feelings, again 💯🤣
It's mind blowing the people who still doubt almost everything Suge says. Whenever Suge says something, the first thing people say is, "I don't believe him". Whether we like the idea of it or not, Suge was Pac's boss, so I'm sure he overruled Pac on a lot of things. Don't mean they weren't still cool. Also, Pac may have not been as close with Suge as he was with someone like Kadafi, but they were still friends.
He wasn't his boss. Do your research
That’s funny because everytime Pac was in the crowd, Suge was following behind PAC like a puppy dog. Check the MGM footage, that’s only one example outta 10 😂

My homeboy Danny Boy. A great talent that was blessed to work with one of the G.O.A.T.'s in the rap game. 2Pac. Gone but never forgotten. 🙏
Well rapped you up in a package wow
Jewell Knew! She had that dream and TOLD home not to go
I agree with Danny boy a 1000 percent. Tupac wasn't alive long enough, to see suge knights Tru colors. Tupac wasn't thinking of living death row at alll
He saw it. He just wasn't able to legally get away.
@@melvinhhcp3615 Right
he did see it 😂😂 man yall really dont do any research. nah tupac know ver well suge before deathrow...he called suge only for one reason because he need help...no prison no deathrow whit pac
2pac audit Death row records. That's pretty much like divorcing your wife and having your wife tell people you never planned on leaving her
Tupac seem like the type of man , nobody really knew.
Pac was a lost black male who lacked a father figure so he was trying to figure it out on his own and made too many bad decisions
@@theetruth8626, YOU believe that, seriously?
There’s no doubt in my mind, Pac had so much love in the West Coast way before he came to Death Row, Pac had real friends around him like Treach, Shock G, Richie Rich, The Outlawz and many more. Pac worse decision was signing to Death Row.
Don’t forget about Stretch. He’s the reason Tupac was able to walk around NYC and not have any issues.
Don't Forget SPICE 1 He's also 2PAC'S Friend. He was loyal to the soil

u right tho
Hé mad when he said “ he was giving me al that hope and shit “ HAHA 😂
So Suge didn’t show his friendship to Danny Boy by taking him in, raising him like a son, putting him in a penthouse, putting money in his pockets, buying him cars, gifting him jewelry, hiring him a personal assistant & paying for around the clock security? With no album on him or track record for making hits? For over three years?!
I think Danny Boy point is that he wanted publishing rights rather than getting gifts
