Hello everyone!
In this episode we are doing plumbing for our log cabin by removing old concrette and instaling new lines and pouring new concrette. And installing new water supply lines before closing everything with OSB and drywall which later will be mudded and tiles installed.

I watch some cabin/off-grid builds in the US. As a European I’m shocked at how little insulation they put it. It’s a cost up front for sure, but the payback is forever. It becomes free in a few years and thereafter it’s just making money. So well done for showing how it should be done!
Thank you very much! I know right! I myself follow a few channels on CZcams for example they biuld in Alaska and they put like 5 to 7cm of insulation into a wall... and sometimes they dont. Maybe its not that cold 😁

The welded connections in plastic water pipes is new for me, I know these press/crimp fittings but not these. The installation looks neat.
Make sure that you seal all seams in the plasterboard with special bathroom sealant, otherwise moisture will get behind and the wood starts to rot.
Thank you for the advise. Yes I will use 2 coats of special liquid membrane sealant and I know some special tape goes oncorners aswell. 😁

The one thing I'm surprised at is you haven't tested the water before you boxed in with plasterboard.
I spoke witha plumber and he said that doing this way it guarantees it safe... well I do hope so 😁
This was the first video I've seen using a Hervin tube welder. Have heard of them but not seen one used. I like the idea of not using toxic glues. Are you satisfied with the tool?

You are very wise to use knee pads.It's sad to see 40-50 year old men wobbling around on bad knees when padding would have prevented their pains. The plumbing looks great.

In the united states , they do things quite a bit different.
I understand the foam insulation on the piping , but there is no insulation on the exterior wall so that will kind of not work as good as it could.
Secondly a wall partition that is not attached to the entire wall and it's in front of the plumbing?
Normally here the partitions would have been put in.Or notches would have been made out of the partition so that your wall will be square in plum and fastened from top to bottom.
I know it is different in other countries.But I kind of question that a little bit.
No disrespect to you however.
There will be insulation outside the wall. And insulation on pipes is only for condesantion prevention
