The family migrated from Wenchi and Techiman to settle on some parts of the Wassa and Nzema lands (including Tarkwa-Nsuaem and Nkroful). This is an undisputable fact and almost everybody in the family knows about it. But the truth is that Kwame Nkrumah was born in Nkroful and not Wenchi as Black Apostle wants everyone to believe. Nkrumah only went back to his people in Nzema, Wassa and Wenchi for support during and after the independent struggle (when all these chieftancy titles were bestowed on him).
If I may ask: does it make sense to you that a ninth born was given (dashed) out as a gift to a forster mother and his name Nkrumah is maintained as a surname? Please don't misinform the public about things you have no idea.
You aren't a family member. I am, and I can send you a picture of Kwame Nkrumah and some of the family members at Nkroful for you to see the resemblance. You can also watch this interview to judge whether what Black Apostle is saying concerning the birth of Kwame Nkrumah is true:

It's just a story you heard and people have told so many other stories. Haven't you even heard that Kwame Nkrumah's father was a Librarian? Among all these numerous stories about the birth of a single person, which one represents the real situation. Could you please provide your email address so I can send you a picture to clarify the doubts?
I am speaking as an insider and not an outsider. I am from Nkroful and I belong to Kwame Nkrumah's maternal lineage. And I've told you already that we have our origin from Wenchi and Techiman. Growing up I witnessed my mom and some members of the family (the Agona or Ako family) visiting Wenchi and Techiman annually for a family reunion. I had the opportunity to live with Kwame Nkrumah's cousin and my great grandparents who were born in the 1910s and 1920s.
Before I go ahead with detailed facts, I'll be standing by for the names of the supposed father and mother of Kwame Nkrumah from Wenchi. Please don't throw any false information out there. It's dangerous.

KayB, I have followed your interviews for some time now, especially the ones with Black Apostle. I like a lot of the revelations he is unraveling. However, I do not think the information about the birth of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah is factual. I am from Nkroful and a descendant of Kwame Nkrumah who belongs to the Agona (Ako) family of the Akan tribe. While I am aware that our ancestors migrated from Wenchi (some of who settled at Tarkwa Nsuaem, Nkroful, etc.), Kwame Nkrumah was not born in Wenchi as Black Apostle is making people believe. Infact, Kwame Nkrumah's original name was Francis Nwia-Kofi Ngoloma. Actually, the Francis was given to him as a baptismal name in the Roman Catholic Church. Nwia-Kofi is the real name given to him at birth and this name is common in the family till date. Ngoloma is his father's name. In Nzema, 'ngonla' means nine. Therefore, 'Ngoloma' in the Nzema language means a ninth born (and not first born as indicated by Black Apostle). So, it means that Kwame Nkrumah's father was a ninth born and not Kwame Nkrumah himself. His name Ngoloma could not be correctly pronounced in his early school days and that explains why Nkrumah (the twi version) was used instead. His name Francis Nwia-Kofi Nkrumah was used even until he completed his studies in the US. He only changed his name to Kwame Nkrumah in 1945 when he moved to study in the UK. This contradicts the information provided by Black Apostle with respect to when Kwame Nkrumah changed his name. Please watch this interview between Captain Smart and the old woman who knew Nana Nyaneba (Kwame Nkrumah's mother) and witnessed her pregnancy.
    www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=m.youtube.com/watch%3Fv%3D7ylBlizedbs&ved=2ahUKEwjOh-jVk7mHAxVjUEEAHTNpBUYQwqsBegQIDRAG&usg=AOvVaw1Eh19ifCvK3Lz5GpflfV29
Yes, I agree that Kwame Nkruma's family at Nkroful and Tarkwa-Nsuaem originated from Wenchi and certainly Kwame Nkrumah himself knew about that. Infact, growing up I witnessed my mom and some members of the family (I mean the Agona family) visiting Wenchi annually for reunification.
I advise that you cross check and validate some of the information to avoid contradictions. Thanks
